Rumors that the Kings are interested in Matisse. Problem is that their bench sucks and I’m not sure who we’d target in return. I guess Terrance Davis? But he’s largely redundant on our team.

Richaun Holmes?

Harrison Barnes for Tucker and Thybulle works.

Has to be a 3 teamer.

Thybulle and Plumlee to Kings
McDaniels to Sixers
Holmes and a SAC 2nd to Hornets

Something like that could be worth the gamble.

I think Terence Davis would be a MAJOR get for this team.

Good shooter. Monster rebounder for a G. Solid playmaker. Great defender.

People mention Josh Hart as a desirable target. I think Davis is similar, but a better player across the board.

Sixers:
Terence Davis

Kings:
Matisse
Tony Bradley

Bulls:
Furk
2 2nds (1 PHI, 1 SAC)

Cut or Buyout Trez to get under the tax.

Houston - Thybulle/Korkmaz
Philly - Tate/Nix

Gives us a bigger, more rugged wing defender in Tate signed to a good deal for 2 more years who is a more willing spacer than Thybulle. Flier on Nix who played Sixers summer league a couple years ago. Looks to have developed some since then.

Thybulle

for

Terence Davis and #23

If the Kings don't want to give up the 1st rounder, ask for #39 and #53 from them instead.

Terence Davis has a chance to unseat Shake Milton for the playoff rotation. And the pick(s) can be used to replenish our youth in a deep draft.

We need a big athletic wing defender who can play SF/PF, not SG.

And if we are going to go down the role of trading for a guard it needs to be someone who can also be a ballhandler. Monte Morris would be a good fit.

Well, we're not getting OG Annunoby with what we have to offer....

Also, you can't say SG is not a need when Shake Milton is a horrendous defender and a reluctant shooter. Davis is a fantastic defender with a willing trigger.

If Davis is playing the 20+ mpg role that Milton is playing and Milton is playing the 15mpg role that House is playing and House is out of the rotation as a sparingly used player, that trickle down effect improves our roster.

Terence Davis is a ballhandler. He was a PG at Ole Miss as a senior. He's had a double digit assist percentage every year he's been in the NBA.

Morris is a munchkin with awful defense. No way we should even consider him.

Double-digit assist percentage is not good. I mean it's better than being in the single digits but when you are talking about someone as a secondary ballhandler who can run an offense it is nowhere good enough. I don't care about Davis college stats or role either he is not even a bad PG at the NBA level.

He isn't even anywhere near Maxey level and the problem with turning the ball over to Maxey is he plays best playing off a primary ballhandler rather than being one. Monte Morris would be a massive upgrade over our bench internal options. All the playmaking right now rests on Harden when he is off the court we have no one who can execute an offense. Morris would help with that he can also hit the open 3 and will contribute offensively. He is a real good fit for what this team lacks depth-wise.

I don’t see how Terrance Davis even finds minutes on this team with Harden/Melton/Maxey/Shake.

Not likely, but wonder if we could somehow pry Cam Thomas from Brooklyn who's been largely out of their rotation.

He can, and has, played SF minutes in his career. He'd essentially take the Thybulle role.

Monte Morris may not be a good fit with Philly, but the description of him here reads very unlike the actual positive player he is.

You right, you won’t. Kyle Anderson has been a critical for MIN, with his playmaking on offense and defense.

I don't see the Davis fit, I don't think Kyle Anderson is even on option at any time this season or next, and I don't see us trading Thybulle now that he's finally hitting his threes and gelling with the 2nd unit. I think Morey makes a small, but nice move for a big man to help Harrell out when the matchups get too much for him. I don't think Drummond is playable at ALL in the postseason so that would be kind of pointless to add him. If Boucher isn't an option, then we need to move on to trying to acquire Jalen McDaniels. He too fits the description of what we should be trying to add to our bench. Hybrid C/F who can stretch the floor and is athletic enough to guard on switches and PnR situations which is ALL that goes on in the playoffs.
