Great to see so many lists thank you all for contributing!

I will be making a preliminary plot of the rankings posted in this thread up untill to this point, but to save me the effort of manually collecting the rankings and making sure player names are consistent and correct, and also prevent mistakes like those above, I will be providing a google shreadsheet

in this spreadseet you:
- (1) duplicate the base template to create your personal sheet
- (2) add your own ranking by selecting names (without replacement) from a drop-down menu
- (3) add username in the title of the tab

example:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sWU6bn6R9fd6tFLI_ghiGgOinthUYIJMLXGjdVDff1k/edit?usp=sharing

Any suggestions to improve the spreadsheet?

I think you could have gone a bit narrower than Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander :D

Added mine.

Adding the ranking from ranker.com which received 2.6M votes from 209K voters for a larger sample. Some clear recency bias with omission of Oscar and Dr. J, but overall not bad for players since 90s.

That and Kobe+Wade are at least several places higher due to their immense popularity and out of the court impact.

I like Big Al as much as the next guy, but it does seem a little high.

While AI being at #22 is a vote result that I don't personally agree, I don't think it is more outrageous or trendy than having Kobe top 5 or KG top 10, as the top is always more crowded.

Would you guys be up for providing your all-time NBA player rankings so I can combine them in a single graph?
Example provided below. So instead of using the lists of ESPN, the Atheletic, Hoopshype, etc, it would actually be the posters on this board. It would be interesting to have a single snapshot to see how polarizing some players can be and what the general consensus is on this board!

I would be using Google Spreadsheets to collect your rankings and a drop-down menu so I don't need to manually check if the player names are consistent.

I'm game to do this, but I don't really want to do this before the off-season, and possibly until after the Top 100. I try to keep myself as un-committed to prior rankings as possible whenever I do a new ranking.

Hey, I was wondering if you'd have any interest in coming up with ranks for #21-#30 as well? Looking at the pictogram, you were the only one without a rank for Steph, Dirk, Dr. J, Wade, and KD and I'd be curious to see just what the spread for them was. I believe your list is the only one accepted that didn't go all the way to 30, and it feels like the project would be neater if everyone ranked the same number of players. Obviously if you don't want to that's fine, but I'd love to see what you come up with for the next ten.
