Its fun.

Clippers starting to peak leading into the playoffs, any team with a healthy kawhi is a problem

What im enjoying is that 3 of the 4 most succesful teams of the last 30 years (Lakers, Rockets, Spurs) are bottom 3.

The top 8 other than warriors/mavs are all teams that havent won, or havent won in a long time.

More unbelievable is that of those 4-13 seeds in the West, all have a win differential plus or minus 1.5 points (and actually all are + except for the Lakers).

I think the Warriors are a Top 3 team in the West. They can easily make the finals or even win it all again.

Nuggets
Clippers
Warriors

Grizzlies
Suns
Pelicans

Kings
Mavericks
Timberwolves

OKC, Trailblazers and Lakers fighting for that 10th spot.

Lakers miss out when AD gets injured again. Street clothes!

mavs

mavs are closer from lottery than being seed 3, not even reach finals LOL

Kind of surprising given the Victor sweepstakes, but 3 teams have really surprised people with their lack of tank:

-Kings seem determined to end their playoff-less streak. GW Bush was president and the iPhone was a year away from being introduced the last time they made it.
-Utah's tank didn't end up like Ainge and a lot of other fans envisioned. They had a few too many "too good" players on the roster for it to happen and their coach seems pretty sharp.
-OKC's tank also went the same way, in large part due to SGA being sick of losing/waiting around and it'd look pretty awkward for Presti to put him on the shelf this year.

Kings weren't going to tank after making the Sabonis trade last year
Utah was trying to tank, everyone had them as a bottom team coming into the season. Their players have definitely surprised (although they are falling back to earth recently)
OKC was the real shocker, i had them as one of the worst teams in the league but SGA had other plans.

I would rank the west as:
Tier 1 - Nuggets, Grizzlies, Clippers
Tier 2 - Warriors, Suns
Then everyone is bunch together. Kings are good but inexperienced. Pelicans are decent but perpetually injured, Mavs are a 1 man show, Timberwolves will have to integrate KAT again.

lol....this insane view the lakers have a snowballs chance in hell at make a run. They don't!

IF they trade westbrook for anything positive and are 100% healthy they'll have a shot. Anything short of that and no chance though

So you betting against the mavs with a healthy Luka in a 7 game series?

So you that dude that didn’t watch what happened to the Suns last year? Playoff Luka is a thing...

GSW and Denver the only teams I would say are prohibitive favs if they play the mavs

Find me for a wager come playoff time...I’m taking playoff Luka against damn near anyone because in the playoffs more time than not the best player wins the series...and seriously Luka is that guy damn near every series....sooooooo. Yeah find me and let’s go

It's a mistake in a long line of mistakes. Ironically the last time we've seen a team that both had a severe lack of talent and also pretty bare cupboards when it came to draft picks and young players to try to retool the roster was Lebron's 1st stint with Cleveland.

But the fact remains...one man can win a series or one man can tilt-

let’s just be honest...we saw Luka get bounced by a healthy Kawhi /PG13 when Kawhi and Luka had TWO back to back years where they both just kept Dropping Nukes - and it took all Kawhi had to get the Mavs out of there...and the clippers were stacked. I think Kawhi had a better series but he also had PG13...

and Luka also lost to the eventual Champs in a CURRY led GSW team.

We have seen Dallas lose BS reg season games but in the playoffs...they lose to great teams

Who apart from the GSW and a healthy Denver do you think is on par with either of those teams this year? Exactly....no one...you telling me it would shock you if Dallas beat Memphis or Kings or Suns or a depleted oft injured clippers team...

The west has only 2 teams that can or should beat the mavs with a healthy Luka in 7
