Zero interest from POR.
Willing to move Hart for an asset, Boucher doesn’t get it done.
I respect your opinion but to speak so authoritatively about what the Blazers would or wouldn't be interested in is silly unless you have inside knowledge of some kind.
Fair enough.
I don’t pretend to be some kind of insider.
I do know that POR grabbed a draft guru that wanted Sharpe badly, and believes he has star potential. Fans are excited about the player he is today and very excited about the player he might become.
OG is a great role player.
Making that kind of move would be incredibly short sighted, especially since OG wants more shots and hasn’t proven he can do all that much on offense besides catch and shoot.
Not being a hater, merely bringing up some points.
This draft guru's work was already cut out for him. Sharpe was highly regarded leading up to the eventual draft and with POR drafting at #7 BPA was between a more sure thing in Sharpe or a wild card in Sochan.
Let's not act like POR exerted immense efforts to steal a diamond in the rough no one else saw.
Various league sources, executive level team sources, NBA media have all reported OG being heavily coveted. However we feel about him, interest and perception of OG is incredibly high.
I'd keep Sharpe if I was POR but I have no clue how much influence Dame has and whether he wants OG. If Grant doesn't sign that extension, you guys are more likely looking down the OG barrel.
Hope whatever happens it works out for both fanbases.
