Ya it's hilarious seeing people treat OG like he's a top 20 player. Dude hasn't even come close to sniffing the allstar game lol.

I feel that CamJo, Dario (for cap reasons) and 2 FRPs is fair. This year's pick and 2025.

Hes been in a situation where he hasn't felt appreciated by his team and it wouldn't be the first time the Suns penny pinching did this to a player.

I'd probably do Ayton straight up but you'd need cap filler as he makes more. So add in Koloko and Boucher?

What about OG for Indiana's 3 1st round 2023 picks? I'm not crazy about these picks 10 years away. Flip another guy for draft capital and we can move up in draft

I'm not seeing how Indiana could put together the necessary salary to make an OG trade work, assuming that we have no interest in Hield.

Do they? They're surely trying to build a core of Hali/Mathurin/OG/Turner. What else is there? Smith, Brisset and Duarte are all fringe players with limited upside imo.

Nembhard looks like he's going to be really damn good. Also the pick equity would have to be there.

I don't know man. If I'm trading OG, I want a rotation piece, a high upside prospect, and a lottery pick.

I'd rather hold on to OG at the deadline and make a draft night trade if we're being offered a bunch of likely non-lottery picks and meh prospects and rotation pieces like Cam Johnson.

Yeah, I thought Pacers were going to use that cap space to bring in Ayton before the deadline, partly because they wanted him last summer and partly because Suns might want to try to get under the tax by the year end.

But after extending Turner, that's not going to happen. So Pacers should try to use up that cap space while they still can. The only tricky part will be avoiding the tax starting next year. I assume their ownership would NEVER want to be in the tax.

People are insane if you believe you’re getting 3 unprotected picks and a player like Cam Johnson from the Suns. If you’re getting 3 picks, it’s the Knicks pupu platter of heavily protected picks or you get a young player and two lightly protected picks. Really good young player and 3 unprotected picks are what you can get for Siakim but not for OG

He is probably the best role player in the league who's available though due to his defense and ability to hit 3s. Granted, he's having somewhat of a rough year offensively, but he's exactly the type of players who's shooting percentage will go up playing in a different system than what the Raptors run. He's also 25.

There's a ton of current day value for a championship contending team as an elite 3 and D guy who's 25 and still growing.

Maybe not 3 unprotected picks, but there's no reason not to expect a high upside player and a first round pick or two that are protected.

It really depends on what type of bidding war this can generate.

I like that the Grizz and Pels are all rumored. Those are 3 teams in the West with prospects and picks.

Multiple good picks have to be the centerpiece of any deal for OG imo. I don't have much interest in some of the names being discussed as potential return (e.g. Cam Johnson). I'd prefer salary filler and picks that give our - very good - scouting department more kicks at the can in finding star talent in the draft.

This is the way to think about picks. My preference is a young prospect plus picks. I like the idea of having a player to work with and not just all unknowns in the future.

I think that the Pelicans are probably the ideal trade partner. They have several young guys they can afford to trade and an excess of picks.

I can see Kings as a strong candidate since they’ve been vocal about their defensive woes.
Im not familiar with how well Davion Mitchell has progressed. I remember Holmes was being coveted a few years back, today im not sure hes a starting C.
