We have too much scoring fire power and we can turn it up on defense that it compensated for Maxey and Melton’s poor shooting tonight.
Magic really lures us into skip passes to the opposite corner against their giant length.
Nothing else to say. Another day at the office. Figuratively and literally for me lol

There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Why you no likey Andre Drummond as a backup here mi amigo? He played extremely well in that role last season, on the 76ers no?
He did play well, I just don't know if he's someone you can use in the postseason. You almost need a big man that can defend 3-5 in the playoffs because of all the switching and isos we see.

Then don't switch.... Unless it's very late in the shot clock and all should be fine. That's pretty much how they handle Joel defensively. Maybe switch 1-4, but not Jo.

I get what you're saying, but teams will force you to switch. It's almost unavoidable. I was also thinking more along the lines of having a big that is also capable of playing next to Joel Embiid when needed. I realize we tried this with Al Horford, but he's kind of a slow mo type of center. Not exactly what I had in mind. I think we had the right idea adding him, but he just wasn't versatile enough for it to work. These last two games against Orlando are a prime example. People on here were mentioning about us not having enough length and athleticism which is a valid complaint. So that's kind of what I was thinking...Our rebounding or lack thereof has been an issue. Obviously a backup center like Drummond gives us stability should we lose Embiid or need to rest him, but again, I was hoping we could actually get a stretch 4 that's athletic enough to not only play with Embiid, but also guard positions 3 through 5. It's why I've continued to mention names like Chris Boucher, Jalen McDaniels, Jared Vanderbilt, Bol Bol, even KJ Martin (despite him being on the short side), or Doc could just give more minutes to Paul Reed because he very much fits the physical attributes of a player I think we're lacking. Only problem with Reed is he can't confidently stretch the floor so he would not be playable for any stretch with Embiid. I don't know, I know nothing, just a fan, but that's how I see it. If we don't go for a player like that, then I'd love to see us make a run at Saddiq Bey if he's available. I already mentioned KJ Martin, I even like Amir Coffey from the Clippers, Trey Lyles, Zach Collins. We just need a shot of youth and athleticism to come off the bench. I think we're close, if the best we do is Andre Drummond you wont hear me complain, I was just thinking of situational basketball. Like...We're getting killed on the boards, we have a Chris Boucher who can play with Embiid..I mean what a luxury that would be for us!

I don't want Gordon here. Another shorty who can't defend
Not sure if serious. Gordon is short yes but dude can bomb 3's and is clutch under pressure. He can be trusted in playoffs.
His D is way underrated. Go check how he gave Donovan Mitchell fits on the defensive end in the playoffs. He can guard SF/SG's much better than Maxey and would be on par with Melton defensively other than the steals/rebounding which Melton is better at.
A line up of Harden, Gordon, Melton, Harris and Biid would be super hard to beat other than being undersized. But the 3's from this lineup would be difficult to cope defensively for the opposing teams.
I'm very serious
He's shooting under league average this season. I wouldn't call Gordon a bomber at all as he is a career 36.9 shooter from there. That's bomber percentage at all
You really brought up him guarding Mitchell 4 years ago? Lol
He will be just another defensive liability with old legs taking minutes away from Maxey, Shake, and Melton and a roster spot
No thank you

Gordon will be valuable come playoffs because right now he's just coasting on a lottery team where he has no drive to do anything.
We ain't getting him anyways. There is report that Suns might trade for him. He's going to be huge for them if traded. Book it.

The main reason Gordon’s 3 pointer percentage has dipped is because he’s playing on a team that can’t get him open uncontested shots. They don’t have the gravitation of an Embiid nor a point guard of Hardens caliber. He would thrive here. As Jay pointed out he’s a very solid defender and a great backup ball handler. Morey would be thrilled to get him especially on a vet minimum. That would be the no brainer pickup of the year. I would not trade for him though, his salary is too big a hurdle.
