Today has some fun games. Some of my favorite players play.

Jovan Small - reminds me soo much of Tyrese Maxey.

Craig Porter JR - is maybe my favorite player of them all I think he is the only player to lead his team in 4 statistical categories

Ben Sheppard - is a player that I know we would want if he came here. Great three and d guy with a lil more

Tucker Devries - lights out shooter

Wichita State @ East Carolina - 12:00 PM - ESPNU ( Craig Porter JR. VS Jovan Small, )

Drake @ Belmont - 3:00 PM - ESPN2 - ( *Ben Sheppard, VS Tucker Devries, )

-----------
Latest players - Jalen Hill

-----------
Yesterday Kenyonte George went against Anthony Black

Keyonte George - 24 pts / 3 ass / 3 reb

Anthony Black - 7 pts / 3 ass / 6 reb

Anthony Black influences the game with more than just stats so hard to guage

The games I recommended today featured only ONE of the TWO stars in each matchup. Tucker Devries was out and so was Javon Small.

There were 13 NBA scouts at the Belmont game.

Ben Sheppard - went off in the 2nd half. Finished with 21 pts / 6 reb / I think he only had 3 in the first half.

Craig Porter JR - 20 pts / 8 reb / 4 ass. The game was a blowout so he only played 27 mins.

Want to reiterate that the Thopmson twins are already 20 and are playing against 17 year olds. Neither of them were ranked top 20 in their HS class by any org and theyve been playing the last two years in a joke league. Their hype is baffling.

Todays game is a PG battle...

#3 Houston @ Wichita State - 9:00 PM - ESPN2 ( Craig Porter JR VS Marcus Sasser )

Craig Porter Jr is such a laid back guy. He has to be to post a tweet like this lol. Just seems like a smooth cat on and off the court.
He is such a PRO out there. I truly hope we consider him in the 2nd round. Marcus Sasser is expected to be drafted maybe even 1st round. Should be a battle. A true test for Porter JR.

Hornets are likely to be guaranteed top 8 and virtually a lock for top 7. I wouldnt take them top 8.

I like what I saw from Craig Porter JR considering he was double teamed most of the night and went against a projected first rounder in Sasser.

Brandin Podziemski - could he be the best SG in the draft? Right now I have him in consideration.

Looking at the standings, I think we're at our floor. 4th.

Houston - 13
Spurs - 14
Detroit - 14
Us - 15

Next lowest is Orlando at 21. Then OKC at 24.

Cliff/Wemby would be one of the biggest coaching ability / talent gaps in history.

Wonder if Cliff thinks he is a PF or a C.

Can only imagine Cliff waxing poetic about what a bright future he'll have if he dedicates himself to the game.

Regardless, my fandom would be locked in for years if we managed to run out frequent Wemby/Mark lineups.

I went to watch videos of Grant Nelson and found a new favorite player going against him. I THINK I remember researching him '
( I research sooo many players and forget sometimes lol)

but his name is Zeke Mayo. He had 41 pts in his game against Nelson who had 27 PTS & 15 REB.

I know traditional draft culture says we should be down on Trayce Jackson Davis as a senior, but seems wild that he is probably the best player in the college basketball and legitimately dominates both ends of the floor and he will be a mid 2nd rounder. He never really shoots real jump shots as he just dominates the paint with his back to the basket so that is a knock.

He averages 3.2 blocks per game, has real nba size, strength and body. Puts up 20ppg and has 3 games this year with over 20 rebounds.

The other thing is he has basically been 20/10 option for 3 years in a row so it not like it took him until he was a senior to be a good player.

Idk just food for thought.

Those are exactly the types of players I would always Target in the second round. I know Mitch has had some pretty good success finding some hidden gems and players with upside, but historically the hit rate on those dudes are pretty low.

In the second round, give me those upperclassmen who have proven they can be valuable contributors

If he can't shoot (and isn't a dominant big), I ain't using a lotto pick on him.

I'd also add 'if he can't play defense' to that list. Mark was a good start, but we need so much more of that.
