Does King James get traded in off season? He seems pretty unhappy and Lakers not very good.
Bonus: would you trade 2 years of old LeBron for KAT in summer?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

No just draft his kid in 2024 and he will join us.

it sucks that we drafted a gem and probably steal of the draft in Kessler and just gave him away...considering we already included 3 FRPs, couple of pick swaps, 3 decent role players in that trade, Connelly should have found a way to make the trade work by not giving away Kessler

A core of Kessler-KAT-Ant-Jaden would have been freaking awesome and we also would have had so much cap flexibility over the next 4 years

I would try to get a development project at PG, for instance Saben Lee

Unfortunately, no all-star selection for Edwards, yet George, who has played 17 fewer games, is in.

That’s just going to motivate Ant even more.

I thought Ant's competition was Fox but he didn't even make it. This is just insane to me. Ant literally needed to play every game for the Wolves to scratch and claw to their current record.

Jaren Jackson on the all star team?? His name wasn’t even in my mind for that. No Fox, Ant is wild but I figured Ant wouldn’t make it

It looks like they wanted to reward the top 4 teams.

This shows how important those losses to easy teams were. One more win and MIN is tied for the fourth seed,

How many in the West will miss games with injuries? Any chance Ant will get a replacement slot?

Here is PG's stat compare to Ant's stat
----GP GS Min-- FG%----3pt-- 3p%- FT% OR- DR RB AST BLK ST PF- TO- PTS
PG- 37 37 34.1 46.4 2.9-7.6 38.5 88.5 0.7 5.4 6.1 5.4 0.4 1.5 2.7 3.4 23.3
Ant 54 54 36.6 46.3 2.8-7.5 37.1 76.8 0.6 5.4 6.1 4.6 0.6 1.7 2.5 3.4 24.9

They are really close. Interestingly they both have the same number of turnover per game. Some credit should be given to Ant for playing every game this season.

I just don't see how JJJ got ahead of Ant. I think if Ant could clear up some of those casual turnovers, more focus (not necessary play harder) on D on every play and a little better on those lob passes, he will be a sure in. Then again, we are asking a lot from a young player.

I could see PG and Zion possibly being out potentially but at this point it’s best to let Ant heal up.

Zion and Jackson are prob the only 2 question marks on the team for me. Especially considering the grizzlies recent slide.

Jaren Jackson Jr.'s selection doesn't impact Anthony Edwards (front-court versus back-court).

Personally, I think it is super lame that Paul George got the nod, despite only playing 68.5% of his team's games, but oh well.

Since Ant is listed as a guard, if a forward goes down, can the commissioner fill with any position?

And were either George or Zion wildcard additions?

It's a little confusing how the reserves get selected. I didn't think position matters for the reserves. Anyway shouldn't PG be listed as SF and take JJJ's spot which than free up a wild card spot?

From the NBA...

The 30 NBA coaches select the 14 reserves, voting for two guards, three frontcourt players and two players at any position in their respective conferences. Commissioner Silver selects the replacement for any player unable to participate in the All-Star Game, choosing a player from the same conference as the player who is being replaced.

I looked up the positions of the players on the ballot

Guard: Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies)
Guard: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder)

Front Court: Paul George (LA Clippers)
Front Court: Lauri Markkanen (Utah Jazz)
Front Court: Domantas Sabonis (Sacramento Kings)

Wild Card: Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers). #5 in guard voting
Wild Card: Jaren Jackson Jr. (Memphis Grizzlies). #13 in forward voting

Other guard snubs: Fox #6, Booker #7, Westbrook #8, Edwards #9

It really looks to me like they should have used both wild cards on guards. Even so, it will be tough for Ant to get in as an injury replacement. He was #13 in West Coast Guard fan vote.

I think Silver would pick Fox over Edwards because the Kings have a better record, the numbers are similar and Fox is older.
