Scratching my head what happened to the offense in the 4th.

Yes Bucks defense was intense but the offense was stagnant like we saw in the beginning of the season.

Clippers just need one bucket to win tonight .

PG missed free throws, Kawhi missed dunk. Every possession counts.

But we also saw some greats things from the Clippers for 3 quarters.

I agree- very frustrating.

The offense got very stagnant, but you figure Kawhi to make at least a few of those mid-range shots. Has to be one of the worst shooting games of his career. Maybe he was tired. He isn't used to playing the minutes he's been playing recently

Lue is the worst game manager. Playing Reggie that many minutes, not putting Kawhi on Giannis, watching everyone else get torched.

He didnt play our best 3 point shooter, Kennard. He never played Brown.

Stan saw it

PG s a head case in big games.

Lue=Doc 2.0

Bubble Clippers are BACK

I like Farbod but this is as bad as some of Lue’s post game comments.

Giannis scored 54. How is their offense ran?

Leonard 7-26 for 17 points
George 6-16 for 16 points

we lost by ONE POINT

gimme a fkn break people

coach and the rest are BUSTING ASS

To me it's not so much that we lost its how we lost. Those last possessions were HORRIBLE. Why is PG trying to iso Jrue Holiday and then resorts to chucking a desperation 3. I don't even know what that last possessions was either.

Agree. This is why you want a Conley. Somebody with a head on his shoulders. Kawhi cannot lead and PG is actually too intelligent to lead. He gets caught up in the moment.

I love Reggie. But he is too wound up in his brain when the chips are down, with far less talent.

And don't EVEN tell me that Terance Mann is your point guard with 10 seconds left.

That's why we traded for Rondo. Desperation move because Kawhi and George PANIC.

You is what you is. Giannis is a champion. Proved it again tonight.

If that really is the case then we have no chance. Peoples' feelings are going to get hurt no matter what, you can't make everyone happy. This attitude always pissed me off even when I played sports in high school and people got to start just because they were seniors while there were players in lower classes that were far better. Those kind of coaches are more concerned about making everyone happy than winning.

Let's not get carried away here.

Yes, it does give us flashbacks to the bubble meltdown, but you don't figure Kawhi to have such a horrible shooting night.

PG also did play very well in the playoffs in 21, particularly after Kawhi went down- so this notion that he can't perform in the clutch isn't true.

They could benefit from a guy like Conley for sure, but let's be careful with our narratives and not overreact too much to one game.

It was a perfect storm- missed dunks, missed free throws, and Kawhi missing his patented shot repeatedly. Also, Lue just let Giannis do whatever he wanted. That was definitely concerning.

Super disappointing to see a 21 point lead frittered away like that, with Clippers scoreless for over three straight minutes.

On the one hand, Giannis was truly unstoppable... treys, jumpers, drives to the basket... 52 points? Beast .. he is really amazing.. could he even get better? (shudder) Not surprised Zubac fouled out, glad he lasted until 4th.

On the other hand, with just a few of those clanky mid-range jumpers falling in second half of 4th, we win by a couple buckets.

OK, let's spank the Knicks and we'll all feel much better Saturday.
The Clipper fan understands the Book of Exodus better than anyone... what it's like to struggle 40 years in the wilderness... and Genesis.. why Cain went after Abel... So fLakers, look out... we're coming.

Farbod is shooting in the dark. Kawhi and PG lack confidence. Even in each other. Blaming the coach is bullshtt. It's up to THEM.

KL--7-for-26, 17 points
PG--6-for-16 16 points

We only lost by ONE POINT? In the middle of the dreaded yearly Grammy Road Trip?? Giannis scored 54 points. FFS. If we hit one more basket, it's the greatest win of the year.

And I'm from Negadelphia, lol. Even by our standards this is lame.

It took Giannis scoring 54 to beat us. You don't put up 54 by playing it safe.

Frankly, Norm should have shot a few. You don't dump winning the game into somebody else's lap.

KAWHI: O thank you Norm for going 4 minutes without taking a shot. You don't play defense and don't rebound or make assists so I really appreciate you sitting back to watch me brick the final shot.

I think this is the game that finally spurs the FO into making a trade for a PG, if not that then at least a backup big. I’ve seen enough of PG playing street ball dribbling mindlessly and turning it over. Reggie Jackson should also be on the trade block, that lackadaisical turnover he had while dribbling without a care in the world which Giannis converted at the other end was just infuriating.

Kawhi I’m not too mad at, he’s allowed for a bad game once in a while, but we really need him to play well every night to nab that third seed. Rest in the days off between playoff games.

Norman Powell is turning into a favorite to watch, he actually tries on defense and isn’t totally bad.

Kennard is probably getting shipped out at this point, he can’t stay healthy enough to play meaningful minutes. When he’s on and clicking it’s great, but gotta at least be available as a role player. I’m losing confidence in Batum as well, he plays well one game and then can’t hit shots for the next two…it means he’s old. He was great to start the season but man, it’s not looking good.

He's spot on correct. There's too many cooks in the kitchen on this team. Too many role players that need guaranteed minutes. Look at the big deal and fuss that's was made when Reggie had to sit a few games, when RoCo doesn't play, and now people wondering why Kennard got a DNP. Can't sit Wall and give him DNP's because he'll turn the locker room upside down. The so called depth is killing Ty Lue on his rotations and lineups. Less would be more for this team.

Well this game just ruined my entire Friday. At least I didn't get up at 5 AM to watch it live.

Really bad loss that should've been a blowout if we didn't mess around. Something tells me the Bucks will come out a lot stronger in LA.

Hope the team manages to bounce back, because it feels like the kind of game that could linger, and our upcoming stretch is tough.

Just want the damn trade deadline to get here already.

We lost by one point ffs.

We have enough talent. Almost beat an NBA champ on their home floor. The only thing we're lacking is a leader. And no, the coach can't be the leader. Not even in the NFL. It's the players who win or lose.

I wasn't saying Ty Lue was doing that specifically I was talking about it generally as a coaching strategy from my own experience. It was more of I hope that isn't the case.

It was a truly awful collapse, and absolutely highlights the two glaring holes in the roster. But, let’s not get too carried away, it took a superhuman effort from an elite player to overcome our two stars being dreadful.

I have full confidence that Kawhi will be much better in the remaining games pre AS break (his defence was great tonight, rebounded the ball well and, when he wasn’t stuck in iso mode, he made some pretty nice passes too). Let’s hope FO can make a couple of moves, the first 30 mins of this game showed me the potential this team has

And I wasn't being personal. But a coach's job is to build confidence and be sure not to subtract from it. Hurt feelings isn't really in the equation. That's why the calls to yank somebody after a missed shot or a bonehead play are so annoying.

We didn't lose because people missed shots or made turnovers. The Bucks won because Giannis scored 54 points.
