If this were possible, it would be a dream scenario and a win for us.

I am wondering what people would think about exchanging Tobias Harris for Russell Westbrook?

Let me be clear- I love both of them. I think the hate my man Tobias Harris gets here is ridiculous. Yep, overpaid. So is the vast majority of the NBA if not 3 of the 4 major professional sports leagues. If we didn't Supermax him, someone else was going to. And yeah, maybe if we could go back and say, "We want to have Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler, and James Harden and part with Harris and Benedict Simmons can go pound some fine Jersey Shore sand..." - but we can't ... But I like Harris and he could play on my team anytime.

But I also firmly believe Russell Westbrook is a transcendental player who was stupid enough to let LeBiatch convince him to "come home" and has had a couple years of raw deal.

Just curious what people would think of Harris (and I threw in Korkmaz to make the deal work) for Westbrook and whatever FRPs we can extract from LA ... He's a FA after the season, and I think playing with Joel and James would rejuvenate and invigorate him, especially come Playoff Time ... Westbrook/Harden/Thybulle/Tucker/Embiid is a pretty potent Playoff lineup ...

I realize it's not going to happen and I'm not trying to start WW3, just curious from an 'academic'-sort of discussion kind of way.

I want no part of Westbrook, who would be a bad fit here anyway, but I completely agree with the idea that Westbrook has gotten a raw deal in LA and has been gleefully thrown under the bus by fans and media, and indirectly by James even though he was primarily responsible for making that move.

2 undervalued guys from the Nets that would fit greatly to our team.

Seth Curry and Day’ron Sharpe

Day'Ron Sharpe is so damn talented. The only problem is that he has virtually no basketball experience. Only played 19 mpg as a freshman at UNC and hasn't sniffed the court through 2 years with the Nets. No way Doc Rivers even commits to figuring out how to pronounce his first name.

They end up with a ton of money coming off the books. Fresh start next year.

Nets have no leverage now that Kyrie wants out. This makes Durant want out and they get nothing and have to like it.

Jake Fischer reporting we’re interested in Vanderbilt. I’m guessing that would have to involve 3 teams.

If Memphis goes hard after OG, I'd love to try squeeze our way in to get Dillon Brooks in the deal. This team could use an(other?) a hole, particularly one to try and get under the skin of some big wings.

Vanderbilt would be an awesome addition. Give him PJ’s minutes and turn PJ into a glorified player development coach.

I like the idea of obtaining Vanderbilt. You can play him next to everyone except maybe Reed(he replaces Reed). He kind of fits both needs of a small ball center with enough length for rim protection and rebounding while also being agile enough to switch on smaller players or defend big wings.

I dont think he replaces what Matisse gives us defensively. Matisse defends 1-3.
