Russell has been under the radar not bad for the Wolves this year.

Rivers was posing…Mo got up swinging (in his warmups)…tough case for his atty “sticks and stones” rule
You can't get in someone's face and antagonize them in public. If your neighbor yelled over to cut your grass, you bum. Then you get right in his face. He has the right to defend his space.

Getting in someone's personal space goes beyond freedom of speech.

Mo was well within the law.

I'm guessing he won't get arrested, just suspended for going way beyond reasonable response to junk talking punk talking from a few feet away.

Why?

All he did was heckle. And then defend himself.

Left bench, threw punch, attemped to threw another one.
He didn't defend himself, he attacked.

Don't get me wrong, Rivers is getting similar suspension as well, but you can't left bench and enter court if you are on bench. It's automatic suspension regardless

I agree Bamba should have been thrown out of the game and get a suspension. But based on the last scuffle, I would not project Bamba to get more than one game here.

Rivers will get more. Because, in Bamba's words, "you suck".

How thin is his skin? Sticks and stones, and all that.

I thought he was awful the entire game outside of about a 4 minute stretch in the 4th quarter where he went nuts.

Bench has been getting us the lead back after we go behind early on in almost every game this month and we can maintain a good level of effort throughout the game because most players don't play big minutes. Suggs was really impressive and Cole has been playing much smarter this year, his shot selection has really improved and so has his defensive awareness.

And back to basketball. :)

Yes: this game was one because of dominant bench play by Orlando. Beyond just Anthony's gem of a game, there was 73 total points scored here by the super-subs.

The bench shot 25-37 (67.5%) and made 17 FTs on top.

I agree with this, but I also think part of it is letting those players develop. Starters are the starters but that doesn't mean 2nd unit should be ignored with meaningful minutes. It's Mose trying to walk that super fine line of playing to win but also develop.

Not sure what to believe Bamba said, but even if he said "You Suck", why would he get suspended for saying something that is objectively true.

Compared to me, Rivers is Michael Jordan. Compared to the rest of the NBA, he really is a bad player.

My impression on why the bench carries us at times is that we have two top ten starters in Paolo and Franz and bottom ten starters everywhere else, while our backups are top ten to fifteen at every position except the 3.

Edit: Which is to say that going with Moe over WCJ or Cole over Fultz or Suggs over Harris doesn't cost us much.

There were mentiona that Suggs couldve potentially escalated the situation by tackling Rivers.

Is that true and the video clear?

I don’t know if he escalated it but it was not the best idea, especially with contact in the neck area.

On the plus side if you slow it down Rivers was stumbling down to the ground with Mo going to be right on top of him, so Suggs tackling him to the side potentially saved him from some damage. Doubt the NBA will take that view though.

I used to be an OG from Winter Park as I still live here. Even worked rap music before I went back to playing metal. I had 3 different versions of this song over the years before I hit the final version here.

They just gave Mo 4 games. Haven't heard anything on Suggs so he may be in the clear.

*Nevermind, Suggs got 1 game
