We have a top 10 pg in Fred
We have a top 15 player in siakam
We have a top 10 young player in Barnes.

We have good young assets in Trent, og and precious.

On paper this is an excellent foundation to build upon. One does not simply blow this up.

Sadist or not, the screaming fan boys have it coming

If they're not willing to move Daniels or Murphy then they're not getting OG. End of discussion.

Period. OG to New Orleans doesn't happen without Daniels or Murphy, especially since we'll be taking on Graham as well in the process. There's no shortage of interest in OG and we have him under contract for the next two years to boot. We don't need to settle for a subpar package headlined by Hayes.

It's mostly the case that people want a trade because they're frustrated and bored.

Thankfully professional organizations with integrity aren't managed that way.

LOL I would start laughing so hard if he did.

The reality that I think it's gonna be an either/or scenario regarding Daniels and Murphy if the rumors about NO's interest in OG are true. They'll probably only give up 1 of them and throw in a 1st. If Masai somehow gets both of them even without a pick included, that is still highway robbery.

I'd do it straight up for those two, and try and acquire a pick in a FVV trade. Getting two promising young players on rookie salaries who we can retain for a while is a good play. If it's just choosing between Sharpe or Dyson though, I might go with Sharpe. I do like them both, just like the upside of Sharpe's offence. I could see him reaching similar levels offensively as say Zach Lavine, or maybe even a Jalen Brown. That's a dude that can move the needle a little bit, where as Dyson might be destined to be a strong all around role player type. His O has a long way to go, even if he has some nice IQ and a promising jumper.

I like Sharpe and if NOLA isn't willing to put Daniels and Murphy into the discussion, I'd probably change focus and see what Portland's willing to do. They could use either one of OG or Siakam and Sharpe would absolutely be part of any discussion since Portland doesn't have much to offer outside of him anyway.

I would rather send out Pascal and keep Fred if we are bringing in KD. I don’t think we should go for KD personally, but in terms of trying to compete Pascal and Barnes occupy same space, and we would need Fred more than we would need Pascal if KD is here.

He may have gone for it when they were the 3rd seed but definitely not now after a 9 game losing streak and down to fighting for the play-in.

I'd be even down with Dyson, Jones and a couple of 1st rounders.

A 2nd round celling & no playoffs bottom (looking possible). Wasting a top 15 in his prime surrounding him with youth and hard working lunch bucket starters playing above their ceilings on offense,

This is no mans land, similar to the Colangelo kool-aid years. A complete waste of a season and will be like this until moves are made to take the team in one direction or the other.

I actually think it's the opposite. He's probably more desperate now than he was when they were the 3rd seed.

I have feeling that Murphy, Dyson plus a pick deal was never on the table and never will be though. That's too good to be true.

First round ceiling tbh.

Don’t even think Siakam is a top 20 player when it comes to the playoffs lol.

I would happily take Dyson, a 1st and eat Graham's bad contract. That is plenty of value IMO.

Gotta squeeze in Kira Lewis there. We need a serviceable back-up PG pretty bad.

I want a trade because the team isn't a tax team and I don't think ownership will pay big money for mediocrity. I'd rather see the team shift to a new timeline and build around Scottie.

I thought the team would build on their success from last season but the chemistry is bad and it looks more like a collection of individuals than an actual team.
