The meniscus is the padding in your knee, he had at least some of it removed in this surgery. He will have problems with knee soreness the rest of his career/life, it's just the nature of that injury. Now it's by no means a death sentence, Dwayne Wade played his whole career after having his meniscus removed in college. Missed that game. He injured it in the Hawks game? Not sure IF that scenario is better or worse from a long term durability perspective honestly. I just hope it doesn't become a chronic or progressive issue.
