Sure? Honestly, I couldn't be less interested in what or if the Vando trade happens. If it does, great, but w/e. Rotation player deals aren't interesting when the team has a superstar likely at his peak right now and needs to capitalize on that asap. Vando, even OG, aren't moving that needle in any way.

Ananoby isn't good enough to deal Sharpe imo. Right now, I only am willing to give up Sharpe for a clear game-changer. Nothing against OG, but he isn't that.

Giving picks on top of Hart for Vanderbilt seems like utah wins imho. Should be a straight swap I think Hart is the better player and the value is evened out by Jared being a center

He’s a smallish 4, isn’t he?

Maybe?

I cant believe the Hart for Vandy rumor.

Why the hell does Utah want an expiring win-now role player who is like 29 and adds yet another non-needle-moving guard (Conley, Sexton, Clarkson, NAW, Beasley, Ochai, THT etc).

The only move that matters is getting a clear-cut #2 option. Any team relying on Simons or Jerami to be the 2nd fiddle isnt going anywhere. We have been in this spot since Aldridge left and I have no faith we ever get Dame a legit Robin - and lets be honest he only has a few years left of being a Batman. Clock is ticking and I dont think we find that elusive #2, certainly not this deadline and probably not during the duration of Lillard's current deal.

Reports say that Toronto is not considering trading Siakim, so that means even if he might be available the asking price would be too high. We also tried to pickup OG last off-season it didn't go well, Toronto wanted way over the 7th pick and a solid starter.

To Toronto og is worth more than 26 year old dame. Let them rot in their over valuation of og who I think is a starter no doubt but vastly overrated

When has trading with Masai ever worked out for the other team?

Simons for OG straight up would be my offer (Of course Masai turns it down because he values OG like prime Jordan). Get Vando for Winslow (Or Nas but I’d rather keep Nas obviously) plus all the seconds we have and add a few firsts to Nurk and Keon for Turner. I think Hart would stay in Portland if he stayed a starter and moved to his natural position.

Dame/ Payton
Hart/ Sharpe
OG (in my dreams)/ Nas
Grant/ Vando
Turner/ Eubanks

The defensive potential is tantalizing with OG, Hart, Grant, Payton, Vanderbilt, and Turner. This will never happen but I can dream.

What's really hilarious is they have the opposite problem of us while we have too many guards, they have way too many non-guards. So really Toronto and Portland should make very good trading partners, but their GM is so set on getting a huge haul for every good player they have they are pricing any potential trade that makes them better.

I have no idea what the **** their end goal is up there in Toronto, it seems like they are fine with just being a below mediocre team hoping that one of their players becomes a top 5 player or they get a trade or pick that enables that route. Apparently winning 45% of their games is exactly their plan for now.

So, what say you? Would you include Sharpe as part of a package that landed OG Anunoby?

I'd only do it if it was part of a larger package that also landed us Siakim.

Nope, I would take Siakim and OG for Dame and Nurk or any combination of Grant/Winslow/hart/gp

LMAO. People with this bad of takes really should be charged double by their internet provider for having access to the web.

That's fair enough, and your reshuffling of the deck chairs on the Titanic is just as bad...except yours is long term mediocrity. At some point you gotta let go.

What would the Warriors give up for Payton II?

We've heard the rumor of Hart to Utah for Vanderbilt and whatever else.

How can the Blazers involve Utah and maybe Golden State (Payton Ii) in a trade with Toronto to get one of their forwards (Siakam, Ananoby, or Achiewa) without moving Sharpe?

If the Warriors had assets they're willing to give up to get OG, they'd look to acquire him themselves, not trade them to end up with GP2, who was great for them last year but OG is younger, bigger, can guard the big wings like Kawhi and apparently has done well against Giannis.

They were talking him up earlier in the season as DPOY.

It's still not clear Toronto is ready to sell and if they do, they're going to demand a king's ransom. Only SIakan has been an all star and he's about to hit 30 and be up for another max contract. So he's less desirable to many teams than OG.

Hey Blazers fans, I’ve similarly thought it wouldn’t make sense for the Jazz to value Hart.

Maybe he goes to Milwaukee in a 3-way deal? We in turn send draft assets to Utah.

Am curious who Milwaukee would use for $ matching

Probably Grayson Allen, Jordan Nwora and Serge Ibaka or a package along those lines.

Send Allen and picks to satisfy them to the Jazz, Nwora and Vanderbilt to PDX, Hart to Milwaukee

I have no idea what Cronin will do before this trade deadline, but rumors of Hart and Nurkic being on the block are concerning to me, as they are our best rebounders. Shuffling of the deck chairs is still widely being discussed with names like OG and Vandy.

I hope to see a couple of huge trades that upgrade and add depth to both our Center, and Power Forward positions. Talks of Utah and Toronto I suspect, are attempts by their GMs to snatch either Simons or Sharpe, both likely future All-Stars, for some roll players that don't move us any closer to the ultimate prize.

Cronin has thus far made smart moves and shyed away from the big sexy ones, but I think a blockbuster is needed now, if the goal is to try to win it all... A Big IF. He has the assetts now to pul off just about any trade that presents itself, to include a Kyrie & Simmons trade, that most teams just can't do.

Players I would move: Dame, Nurkic, Hart & GP2-weeks.

Blazers trade: Dame / Nurkic / Hart
Lakers trade: Westbrook / Bryant / Brown Jr. / Picks
Nets trade: Simmons / Kyrie / Picks

Blazers get: Simmons / Westbrook / Bryant / Brown Jr / Picks
Lakers get: Kyrie / Hart
Nets get: Dame / Nurkic

Blazers trade: GP2 / Pick
Warriors trade: Wiseman
Hornets trade: Williams / (Jones, McDaniels or Washington)

Blazers get: Williams / (Other)
Warriors get: GP2
Hornets get: Wiseman / Pick

JUST DO IT!!!

The goal is a championship, so you trade away Dame for Ben Simmons, Mark Williams(Hornets ae not gonna swap him for Wiseman), and distant 1st round draft picks? good god no.
