Who needs kyrie when we have Cam. Lol what a game tho, I'm glad I watched and didn't tune out. We might be able to still contend if we get 2 good pieces for Kyrie. We still need to replace Joe tho. Hats off to Cam and Sumner, real ballers.

I mean, his game is definitely still flawed. He doesn't really fit with what the team does when both KD and Kyrie are available, but on a night like tonight when neither is available? Yeah, he should play as much as possible. If we blow it up and somehow hold on to Cam then I wouldn't mind seeing where things could go if he's given the keys to the team. Probably won't be a great team, but fun to watch if you put high effort guys next to him.

I think Cam can at least be a 6MOY candidate as good as his scoring is

The issue with Cam is his defense still rates pretty poorly and he's not that good off the ball... But with that being said I continue to like what I see.

The numbers don't fully reflect it but his decision-making has definitely improved and this process of bringing him along slowly looks like it could pay dividends on the near future...

Year 3 will be huge for Cam.

I know Cam has always been compared to MarSwag. But I think he has more potential to correct his developmental areas and he also has a clutch gene that allows us to win games with him.

awesome win. hopefully they follow it up with kyrie trade tomorrow. dont even care if they just get picks and maybe another wing to have some extra assets to trade for someone else. just want to see 1 playoff run with kd and a bunch of guys who can shoot and play d.

Yea, I think the comparison is a bit unfair to Cam. Aside form being volume scorers I don't think you can really compare them all that much. Marshon was never as clutch as Cam. And Cam's decision making has matured in a way that Marshon's never did. He's got a ways to go in his development, but I think Cam is already a much better player than Marshon.
