The Wizards are one of the dumber franchises in sports. Wall had already had two surgeries on both knees before they gave him that contract but that's not even as dumb as giving GIlbert Arenas a contract coming off a season where he was injured.

John will have many more years to play as long as he can accept that he's a role player at this point in his career. Hopefully he can adapt.

His stats are going down each month and is out with an abdominal injury right now I think he could still land on a few contracts the rest of the year though, if he can get healthy.

I thought he was playing alright in the games I caught, being decent from the bench PG role, but looking at his game by game production I see that he's shooting pretty poorly on the year.

If Clipps are going for Kyrie it makes sense from a basketball perspective though
Cheers

Wall made an All Star team before so this means the Lakers will sign him, right?

It's become a shtick now, but I think the first time it was a ploy to stave off all the trolling he was going to get after all the boasting and bragging he did about how amazing the Clippers dynasty was going to be. He only switched back at all after the dust settled, KAwhi and George were allegedly going to be back healthy, and he thought the team would be way better than they are.

With how terrible Reggie Jackson is playing and the uncertain future if Powell is kept while pursuing Irving then minutes could open right back up for Wall as a backup.

When all your talent is based on your insane athleticism it could be troublesome if you dont develop more of your fundamentals and skills.

WB has suffered his share of on paper "career altering" injuries too. The difference is Wall seemed to have suffered far more smaller niggles that derailed his career - probably due to lack of work ethic in the work room/injury recovery. And for all of WB's faults on the court, no one has anything ever bad to say about his work ethic off the court. And obviously in Rose's case, no one told him he probably shouldn't continually land on one leg after exploding for dunks :noway:

Call it fortune, you'd be right - but I'm going a step further and saying WB doesn't get enough credit for how hard he has kept his body in shape to last this long while still having a somewhat explosive style.

Just a quick question, I don't follow the Clips.
What's up with John Wall? Is he injured, out of the rotation due to bad play?
Wiretap says they will waive him if they can not trade him?

There you go Lakers. Here's your washed up all star guy after missing out on kyrie. He can't shoot threes but neither does the rest of the team.

Feels like he jinxed every team he becomes a fan of lol. I feel bad for SGA, he’s gonna jinx him too.

I’d pay him to be a Lakers or Spurs fan for the rest of his life lol. Or better yet, keep switching between the two (like he does now) whenever one starts showing signs of being good again.

Why wouldn't the Rockets trade him for Westbrook without additional compensation?
