I am with you!
Even if we can't do this exact deal the framework of turning a single player into 2 or 3 players with potential upside to make a bigger impact is how we are going to get ourselves back to having a quality 8-9 man rotation.
That depth is what this team needs more than anything. Picks are a way to get there eventually but actual players with upside should definitely be the priority.
This team definitely needs just more talent, badly. Why I really hope we somehow do a 1 for 2/3 deal plus pick up and extra first rounder.
we need more talent and more importantly higher quality talent. trading 1 for 2/3 plus pick is just diluting your talent base; trading a quarter for two dimes and a nickel.
more preferably we need to do 2/3 for 1 trade where that 1 is better than 2+3 combined.
as far as the draft we need more blue chip prospects which hopefully we can get with our high FRP. we'll also have koloko, precious and high second round pick as other wild card prospects. porter should be back next year. what we need a strong backup guard presence, which hopefully we can target with our MLE.
Are you kidding me with this?
Hey guys it looks like someone on this board has no idea about the Greivis Vásquez trade and how we turned one player into depth and talent.
Masai has literally done what I am talking about on this team before. You could say the same about the Rudy Gay trade.
Look at the history of this team. I don't need to disagree with you, history does lol.
