Hello Brooklyn wrote:The fact that anyone is still defending Kyrie is comical.

Hes freaking out at the Nets for not offering him a contract that no other team would offer him.

You think we wouldn't give him a 2 year extension? Of course we would.

The guy is a headcase. The Antonio Brown of the NBA.

Hes in his prime and on a Championship contender.

All he had to do was shut up and keep playing like he was until KD comes back. Then the Nets definitely had a chance of winning it all. And he probably gets that max extension.

Now hes throwing it away for what? To get the same contract he would have anyway!!!!

The Lakers are not winning it all with Kyrie anyway. They suck even with LeBron/AD.

I wouldn't compare Kyrie to an abusive sexual predator with multiple arrests, but i get your point.

Give me Chris Paul, Bridges and Crowder for Kyrie and Joe Harris.

I think thats the only trade I can see which keeps the Nets in contention.

With the rumor that LA is only open to a 2 year extension and no one else will max him out, it means Kyrie is strictly about the money. He knows the Nets are the only ones that WERE willing to offer that IF he finished the season. Kyrie will once again come to his senses, but by then, will it be too late? Will the Nets have to have a sit down the cry baby again to "repair" ties or is it over? Kyrie just needed to shut his mouth and even in a contract year he's yapping away again. My guess is the Nets offered a four year deal with the third and fourth years having stipulations but that is more than fair. If Kyrie's sorry ass comes to his sense, I will not be rooting for him or cheering for him if he returns to the Nets. I will make believe he is a phantom on this team and the 27 PPG that are being scored each game are being scored by an invisible player. Call me crazy, but it seems like as the day passes by today, Kyrie is going to be forced to lean back on the Nets llap for Marks/Tsai to have to give him a pacifier.

Eh. Nets are waiting for Toronto and Portland to become sellers officially. If Portland becomes a seller, LA gets involved and Nets send the philly pick along with Harris and LA sends their two picks to Portland and Nets get Lilard/Nurcic and LA gets Cryrie. Raptors are another situation to watch out for, they have talent we covet.

Kyrie is just being vindictive.

The deal we offered was completely fair. Nobody else will offer him better.

I think theres an outside shot Kyrie sees what the Lakers are offering. And then decides he doesn't like it.

I honestly think he doesn't want to go anywhere else.

And then he just decides to play out the season. The locker room probably just takes him back in.

But at this point I'm not sure its worth it. It might just be time to move on from Kyrie.

Nets could have been busy making a move for n athletic stretch big but this bitch derailed that as well. Once cancer starts, it spreads everywhere.

Despite all the bull Kyrie put us through, I would have maxed him. Tsai/Marks dropped the ball in my eyes.

Kyrie has been a good soldier this season until this mess which was caused by him not being offered what a star player should.

I don't agree with Kyrie all the time, but why woudn't you want the max amount of $ if you are top 15 player?

I understand both parties, messy situation but at the end of the day the front office **** our season unless they can get some value back via trade.

We need Kyrie and KD fully locked to make any noise and now the season looks like another disappointment despite starting so well.

I don't think Phoenix would give up Bridges for Kyrie straight up even though Kyrie is probably the better player. Kyrie is just too unpredictable and can sabotage a team in a heartbeat. That's why this discussion is even happening.

Bridges that good? Haven't seen him play much this season. From what I saw last season he looks like at best your 3rd best player on championship level team, at absolute BEST. am I off?

No, that sounds about right. He has really stepped up in Booker's absence and taken his offense to another level while maintaining his defense. Kyrie is definitely the better player, but Bridges wouldn't be pulling this **** and tanking a season at the worst time possible.

Woj reporting Kyrie is on his way to Dallas. Finney-Smith, Dinwiddie and a 1st and 2nd round pick are headed our way.

Would have been great if we could have gotten another first round pick, but I'm not too familiar with the Mavs draft capital.

Honestly I'm just happy that piece of **** Kyrie doesn't get to go to the Lakers.

Him and Luka will never work personality wise. They have no chance of serious contention in the West.

Mavs first
Sixers first
Curry
Thomas
Harris

What second scorer type could the team get from the above?

Din
DFS
KD
Claxton

With O'Neale, Simmons, Warren, and Yuta off the bench is actually very solid. Just need a second scorer.

I'm honestly surprised they wanted to make this work even from a on-court perspective. Two ball dominant ISO players. They should have already seen how that worked out for us. They should be good, but are they going to be championship level now? I doubt it. We'll see though.

I think more moves are to come. Still need some rebounding.

Spencer can play off the ball and on it. Can run a system and has real length at 6’6.
Dfs is elite in the locker room and is the perfect 3 and d player.

Our offence has to be more system based now.

We need to lean into defence with our current roster. And have kd as our solo iso player.

I’d look at getting John Collins too harris is expendable
