Agree. Surprised, honestly.

I don't think the team is finished making moves as there is definitely a need for a second scorer. However, all things considered, good start.

I was initially of the opinion there was no way to contend if he's traded but there is a chance the team could actually improve when it's all said and done.

I don't think we have any serious chance of contending anymore.

Spencer Dinwiddie is not going to be the 2nd best player on a Championship team. This team took a huge step back offensively.

Kyrie saved us in a lot of tough 4th Quarters. And made a lot of really tough shots.

The question is what does KD want to do?

Should we sell high on him now?

Or do we think he can help us pursue another all star with some of the picks we have acquired and Cam Thomas?

If we can make a trade for Beal or Lillard right now I would do it.

Cam, Philly first, Dallas first, future Nets first.

Was surprised to not see a breaking news topic but anyway I don't see how yall don't punt now. KD is only getting older n injuries will keep popping up. Realistically how long couldu sustainhhim being out if u wanna be real contenders?

I don't think the team is done adding to the roster.

You're right, there is absolutely a need to get a second scorer. You now have a Mavs first, along with a sixers first and Thomas, Curry, etc. If you can get a second scorer and another big, in addition to Din and DFS, the team might actually be better.

For the people saying that is a good trade. Why? We could’ve done better.

What could we have done?

Kyrie has no value on an expiring deal.

I would rather this than the Lakers deal easily.

Congrats guys. I like the trade better for the Nets than the Mavs. And best part is Irving is someone else's problem now.

Honestly I would even throw Simmons on the table for another star.

Simmons/Philly pick/Dallas pick/Nets pick.

Would anybody bite?

Because the team somehow got two starters and a first round pick for a player that has been consistently unreliable and a destabilizing force.

Now this version of the team isn't a contender but if you can use the first round pick to help bring in another scorer, the team could actually be better.

It’s actually pretty good. We get back Dinwiddie, add a really good 3&D piece next to Royce and Clax. Have picks to use for another piece like Lavine.

Value at an all time low, hasn't increased much at all since his playoff debacle. You'd have to see how he finishes the second part of this season n prolly next season. But by that time it's too late what's the point.

At some point he has to be featured as a real part of the offense.

Addition by subtraction

How folks aren't excited to bring Spencer back home is beyond me.
