I watched their last game as a Mav against the Warriors last night and he looks really, really good defensively. He is a pretty solid 3 point shooter and he’s definitely better at guarding big guys than Royce.

Thank You , I feel better about this trade now

You can also watch him hit 8 threes vs the Suns in the playoffs if it makes you feel better lol

That’s what I’m talking about , we fleeced Dallas , and Celtics fans now can GTFO and move to Dallas board finally

Think about now having Simmons and DFS when we play against Boston

Spencer isn't some scrub either

I'm still curious who Marks is targeting in 2024 or 2025. Like the rest of the roster besides KD & Simmons, everyone else expires by 2024. I don't believe it's a coincidence.

Jaylen Brown. We'll take him from the Saltics just like we did Kyrie, and then watch them still annoy us about it until the end of times

Dinwiddie/Sumner/Mills
Royce/Seth/Cam
KD/Joe/Yuta
Simmons/DFS/Warren
Claxton/???

DFS actually fills a big need we had. Someone that could take Ben's spot in the lineup who could defend and shoot. As a starter or off the bench.

Backup center is still a huge hole.

We also might be in the market now for any big scorer. I could see us trying to get a package of Clarkson + Olynyk to shore up our bench.

This trade also puts us in the all star market. We have 3 first round picks to send out. All 3 seem pretty valuable. That's basically what Atlanta sent out for Murray. A young all star. Not sure who's available though.

Gonna be hard to do when he’s due for a massive extension this offseason in 2023. But hey dream big

Really think it’s important to get “young talent” back in trades for star players. I think Marks should’ve held out for Dallas to include Josh Green to the deal.

Nah, Dwight Powell should’ve been in this to give Nic a true backup center for the playoffs.

I think the Nets are targeting OG next from the Raptors.

if that's true, then the only way i see the raptors interested is if claxton is involved since they were interested last year. i don't see a match honestly.

Also, KD loves how DFS plays.

That's what I'm saying. I think there's a serious chance that Marks can keep us in contention with those picks, Cam, and one of Seth or Joe's contracts
