Initial thoughts on KD for Bridges, Cam, Crowder, plus picks?

Where Flex at

Flex just posted that the Suns did talk Kyrie but they are waiting for Durant

I am more intrigued with the note about how the Clippers are monitoring D'Angelo Russell. That should be the target of the Suns

Hopefully he's right this time. I'd love to get KD, I do find it hilarious that Flex manages to slither out from under his rock now that KD is back in the news. I've heard nothing from the guy since summer about anything Suns related.

I was just about to make a similar masturbatory joke but decided against it. Glad someone did

Would have to be a 3 teamer to a team who wants Ayton and has a player they may accept for starters. The Raps come to mind. Ayton to the Raps, OG Boucher, Crowder + a couple of our 1st to Brooklyn, Durant to Phx

I also would not trade Mikal for KD. Don’t even think I’d do it straight up even if the contracts matched.

Now, I would definitely do Ayton + Cam J plus picks. Don’t think the Nets would even consider it though. Just like this past offseason, the Suns will probably have to get other teams involved to send players to Brooklyn (like Toronto).

Literally just posted the same thing! I think Toronto makes the most sense. It probably makes more sense for Brooklyn to revisit this in the offseason though, unless KD is pushing hard for a trade now.

I've never heard of him before this tweet in the thread, but I don't much follow NBA Twitter.

He is probably waiting for the opposite gm to accept that in a wild dream, because it hasn't presented itself in real life.

My guess is the nets want to surround durant with better players. Not subtract

And as BWG said - why are the suns wanting a 35 year old oft injured player. I get the talent but how many years in a row has he been hurt. Paul is older. One year chance at a title

Wait, people still buy into Flex’s nonsense?
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

What the Nets wanted has blown up in their faces. Durant didn't join the Nets because of the front office, he was recruited SPECIFICALLY by Kyrie Irving and would have never gone there if not for him. Now that Kyrie is gone, I dont think he has allegiance to them long term.

Not only that but he is currently injured which could mean Nets could accept a reasonable deal.

A double whammy ****. And he doesnt care about winning, which is evidenced by the fact that he demanded out despite the Nets looking like title favorites with him and KD in the lineup.

If the argument is the keep him from Dal, I guess, but I don't want to give up a good player to keep him from a team we might not even face in the playoffs. Plus this shakes up their chemistry.

Nobody said they wanted to trade Bridges and/or CamJo for Kyrie. It would have likely been CP3/picks but per reports we don't want to trade CP3.

Dude, we are not trading Chris.

So trading multiple players and draft picks for a player who is hurt? Is there a time line for him returning ?

Just not a good idea to me. Ayton maybe Cam J, a few picks. That’s it Even that - you are mortgaging your futurec

I thought we should have traded for Kyrie but JJ decided that he wasn't worth a pick or two.

Nobody else moves the needle and CP3 won't be playing forever.

If you can 3 way for him primarily with Ayton and filler, you do that. Cam and Bridges could be safe.
