would Raptors be allowed to flip Ben Simmons right away? I think they could extract even more picks from the Lakers.

not sure if this is a good flip but Simmons+OG for Westbrook+Lakers 2 FRPs

in the end for Fred, Gary, OG the Raptors would have 6 first round picks.

No way the Lakers would do that. OG might be worth the picks but not to the Lakers as they are and not carrying Simmons deadweight in trade.

Simmons originally wanted to play for the Lakers that's the main reason I suggested it....he seems to not want to play for any other team, including the Nets who had KD and Kyrie.

If we dont come out of this deadline with a nice package for at least one of the core guys, its not going to look good.

Everything is set up nicely for Masai to extract.

I feel the same way. It’s a seller’s market, the team is underperforming, we know OG wants out, and literally the best prospect in almost two decades is in the draft. If you’re not going to make a move now, when?

i think KD is back in now that Kyrie is gone.

but damn. Brooklyn not long ago had Kyrie, Durant, and Harden.

now its just KD. :o :o

KD is definitely out in the offseason

Fingers crossed this is the case

We want OG because we were going to take him if Jarrett Allen was selected years ago. Marks has a fascinating track record of landing guys he couldn’t draft himself.

The nets don't have enough to get OG though

FVV has to be the get because he can fit into the Kyrie deal still

Cam Thomas? Day'ron Sharpe? Are those a return for Fred VanVleet?

It starts with and probably ends with Nic Claxton.

Dinwiddie can still be re-routed to Toronto and the Dallas pick they acquired plus one of their own

Agreed.

Dinwiddie, Mills and Warren for Vanvleet, OPJ or Birch or Thad and Flynn. Perhaps the Raps could also get a 2nd.

Raps shore up their PG position with a player who drives and kicks and a knock down shooter. Warren is wildly underrated and is also dope offensively. Raps should aim to re-sign him this summer. They can now trade GTJ for a big and keep OG.

Eg. Trent and birch and a 2nd from brooklyn for Richardson and Poeltl

Brooklyn gets the BPA and a culture player in Fred.
San Antonio gets a scorer while also ranking even more strongly.

Dinwiddie/Richardson
OG/Mills
Scottie/Warren
Pascal/Boucher
Poeltl/Precious

Raps are balanced and improve their bench and shooting.
I believe in Masai.

I think the first the Nets got from Dallas would come to Toronto as well as DInwiddie for Fred

Still yet to be determined if rumors are true but if OG truly wants a bigger role, his ass needs to be gone by thursday.

OG needs to accept his role of an elite 3 + D forward...if not he's fooling himself
