Sheesh. Chris Paul won’t like that.

So we wanted him wow

We offered CP3/Jae/picks for Kyrie and Nets went with Dinwidde/DFS.

I guess we are ready to move CP3

I read somewhere else that the owner of the Nets didn't want to send Kyrie to a place he wanted to go.

I honestly don't know which package was the best (lol not the Lakers).

Swing and a miss for the Suns here, whether you wanted Kyrie on the team or not. Jones wanted him but failed. Sure sounds like CP3 is on the table, but maybe only for a player of Kyrie's star level. I don't necessarily like that this leaked as an official trade offer, but I have to imagine CP3 is privy to what the Suns are trying to do.

Wonder what Jones pivots to now? Ayton + CamJ for Shamet's kid brother who didn't even play college ball but has high score on the mini hoops machine at the arcade?

That definitely sounds like something they would do with all the drama that Kyrie has caused them. I mentioned it is fairly similar to the Kawhi situation.

Wow, hope at least CP3 was a least aware and ok with us offering him in trade to the Nets. Then again, maybe Ishbia is a hard nosed business man and doesn't let feelings and nostalgia be the deciding factor. Or this could just be trolling by Chris Haynes,

Jones out here alienating CP3 and yet another failed attempt to trade for a star player.

Let JJ cook before he gets his ass fired.

Two things:

1. Either CP3 was briefed and privy to him being traded... JJ made sure to ask his veteran leader if it's ok to move to Brooklyn with your friend Jae and CP3 said that's fine

2. Or, he wasn't briefed and we're looking at disgruntled CP3 heading into the playoffs.

If it's #2, you're screwed.

Haynes sure seems to have some sort of contact within the Suns or close to the Suns. He is also the one reporter who, over the offseason, said that KD's preferred destination was the Suns and he also I think linked us to Kyrie first? Maybe I'm wrong, but Woj and Shams don't seem to ever leak stuff about us until deals are official (like the Ayton/Pacers thing).

So, earlier you were mad because JJ didn't even do anything, and now you're mad that he did something but the Nets went another direction. I'm not the biggest fan of JJ, but you won't be happy with anything he does, clearly.

These are all rumors. Who knows what actually went down? Just because it's a tweet doesn't make it fact.

58. Anfernee Simons $22,321,429 $24,107,143 $25,892,857 $27,678,571 (part of Blazer's future)

Cam is getting at least 25M. Look at the last 5 on the list.

Cam is a starter. There will be teams that will offer him starter money...

Which team is realistically willing to pay him $30m+? Like which team is paying $30m+ for a 27 year old who as just missed most of this season while averaging 14/4 in the games he has played? If anything, Cams is getting Bridges money

You really think if teams has cap space to spend on a player, they would spend $30m+ on Cam? And BTW max for Cam is $32m average

Well, who will spend 28M for JJJ, or Anfernee Simson @ 22M. Hell, even John Collins at 25M.

The bottom line is, even at 20M, Suns can't afford him.

That's a great point you made because it's perfectly explains why those guys got the deals they got. They are all part of their teams young core going forward. Just like Cam is part of our core moving forward...unless of course we can use him in a trade to upgrade

This offseason, Suns have 4 guys with fully guaranteed contracts and 2 guys with partial guarantees. CP3 is guaranteed only for $15.8m while Cam Payne is only guaranteed $2m. Book's super max doesn't kick in until the following season when both CP3, Shamet and Cam are all fully off the books or have non-guarantees in their deals.

JJ just alienated CP3 and failed once again to trade for star player in the same transaction.

I'm just over here watching him get schooled by Cuban and Marks.

You know JJ is **** done when Matt takes over.

I think Kyrie is a lunatic so I was never interested.

Earlier what did you think a suns package would look like? Because it was always going to be CP if.

To me IF and big IF that report is true it's not James Jones that I'm thinking about it the new owner. Because that's a new owner level decision and if true we have a wild man on our hands and **** going to get crazy around here.

I hope they talked to Paul… he deserves the respect

As for future trades - if Paul is mad, here goes one if he wants out:

Charlotte - RW and Lakers picks and maybe Suns pick
Lakers: Paul Crowder Shamet or Saric
suns: Rozier and Hayward

I don't buy it. The red flag for me is the inclusion of CP3. I don't think it gets done without CP3's blessing.

You are literally reading tweets that cannot be proven or disproven as if they are fact. You don't know what went down and you'll probably never know. IF that was a package that was discussed, JJ may have talked with CP3 about it. You'll never know unless JJ and CP3 both come out and make it known. Otherwise you're just reading tweets from people whose job it is to make stuff up for views.
