Nuggets have like a 9.7 million TPE from the trade to absorb Noel's 9.2.

Everything I’ve found has Denver’s largest TPE at like $9.125 million. Which makes it so Denver has to send filler back.

Only one I found that fits Noel’s contract are the clippers. So we basically need some 3rd team interested in Wall or the clippers not caring about adding Noel’s contract to their luxury tax.

Like Pistons send Noel to the Clippers, Clippers send Wall and some mixture of cash, some second or prospect (whatever reasonable) to the Jazz, and we act like we’re excited to see what Udoka Azubuike and Leandro Bolmaro can do. For example.

Very well could be. Espn trade machine says 9.7 I believe is what I went off of. Didn't research beyond that lol

Covid boredom a while back. We do that and send Joseph to the Celtics, because reasons, for Justin Jackson (immediate cut) and whatever else. Bring in different players to try out

3 days to deadline day. I'm assuming if we don't find a deal for Noel we'll likely work on a buyout for him since he hasn't been in our rotation and he's likely still trying to earn his contract for next season. Hopefully we get a deal done, but its better to buy him out than take on any extra money for next season. We should be prioritizing keeping our cap flexibility for 2023 in any trades.

Sounds like the Nets might do a quick flip of Spencer Dinwiddie for FVV with Toronto. Hard for me to say if that's an upgrade or not to be honest. Would be interesting to see what way picks go in that deal or what other players/assets would be included.

It seems like since he previously left the Nets via FA, Spencer might not want to return to Brooklyn. Reportedly the Nets have a short amount of time (by tonight) to find a third team to move Spencer to or else they'll have to complete the trade and then perhaps to move him afterwards.

Knicks in - Bojan Diallo Cojo
DETROIT in - Fournier our#1pick Reddish Toppin

Or

Warriors in - Bojan
DETROIT in - Wiseman Kuminga Moody

Or

Lakers in - Bojan Burks Noel Diallo Cojo
DETROIT in - Westbrook 20271st

All 3 of those teams are in win now mode.

I don’t think we get any of those deals.

The Lakers one is the most reasonable but if they wouldn’t surrender the 2 picks for Kyrie I doubt they’d give up the better of the 2 for Bojan.

Knicks would be more likely If they kept toppin and we kept Diallo or Cojo

Getting our pick back would be big. And Reddish has some potential.
They upgrade big time from Fournier to Bojan.
Fournier becomes expiring after next year so there's some value to that.

Do the warriors version, but doubt any are available. We need the nets to keep KD and desperately try to win so they can overpay on a Joe Harris for Bojan swap.

So, where are the picks comimg from?

Read on Twitter
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Only thing is Weaver might resign Westbrook. It would be a entertaining way to end this train wreck season of hell. That said it would cant have it go into next year.

Lakers would be silly to take on Tobias contract and ruin their cap space for the offseason

Yeah I don't know about that Laker/Sixers/Pistons trade...It would be nice to get rid of Bagley , I just would prefer more useful players in return. I doubt the picks involved will be all that great, especially if LA isn't willing to deal a future 1st.

From the Pistons side you only make this deal with firsts coming back. Perhaps one year of a top five protection.

Otherwise its just a cap dump and losing a guy who you will have to pay to replace next year. Cap space is not a problem for Detroit.

They need more shots at young boom type guys.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Maybe we could ship Westbrook to NJ for a pick…

48 Hours. Tick, tick, tick….

If we’re going to do something, it seems there might be a few rumors floating around. Not looking like we will make a move.
