Knicks defense basically try to let anyone but Biid score with the starting unit. While they did a good job covering our dribble drives of our second unit.
Sixers starters were sloppy while the bench unit had a really bad shooting night that lead to the Knicks come back in late third.
We brought back Harden in the fourth to help the bench unit. Still couldn’t improve the play. Then we inserted Biid earlier than usual, he was so relaxed and nonchalant. Maybe too confident. We were already down like 5-6 pts at that stretch and we can’t afford him to not be just warming up going into the last 6 mins of the game.
Biggest difference for bench play between Sixers and Knicks is Knicks were better in denying our drives to the basket which rarely lead to good quality shots. While we missed open 3s when we were able to generate it.
Knicks on the other hand an easy time collapsing the defense with the deficiency on defense of our second unit. They didnt just get very good looks and knocking them but they also were knocking contested 3s.
Down the stretch, Knicks made tough shots and had more opportunities down the stretch. Sixers couldn’t make their shots, got outrebounded and they also couldn’t defend without fouling.

There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

In other words, they beat us at everything.

Just checked the box. Starters were all +, the bench were all -. Take out Maxey and the bench shot 2-14 with 0 foul shots.

Yeah Maxey played very well from the bench, it's the rest of the bench that truly sucks, especially with Thybulle and Harrell oh boy do they SUCK.

Could we get Drummond for him? Gives us a backup C and saves us money too.

I mean, what is he supposed to do, he'll probably get some meaningful minutes on a tanking team and possibly get back to his old self. Although I liked old Furkan, he was always a playoff zero, and I didn't like it when they played him instead of Joe.
