FVV/Young for Dinwiddie/Claxton seems fair no?

I think Clax is entirely off limits to them. He's the engine to their defence. It's a futile effort to contend without him imo.

He's only in play in a potential Siakam trade. Agreed that he's just too important for Fred or even OG. They just create different holes without him that Siakam's all-NBA'ness is the only thing worth swapping for.

And because they don't have anything else young that's of real interest, this is why I'd see OG being off the board too.

They're just a Fred destination. Same as the LA teams.

Lol the Nets arent gettinf FVV and Siakam unless KD is coming back, but that makes no sense.

They probably just want FVV. I'd take that 2028 Brooklyn pick and Dinwiddie for him.

I think Nets want OG/FVV together or just Pascal. They probably are offering Spencer/filler /3 picks for OG/FVV. Claxton would be put on table for Siakam.

They are not trying to keep KD by trading Spencer/1st for expiring FVV as their only move.

I saw the Nets interest as a rumor, but in reality, what picks can the Nets offer that would interest Toronto? The Rockets got 21-27 FRPs with swaps, so that leaves a 2028 swap and 29 FRP. Both will be after KD leaves the Nets or retires, but that's so far away. Do the Raptors want to dump OG for some filler contracts and picks that are 6-7 years away? Other tanking teams would certainly go for that, but I don't see the Raptors in that position right now.

Defense, hypothetically, would look good but the only problem there is a lack of shooting. I think that move also decreases the need to keep Koloko, which makes me a bit sad, but we'll see what transpires in a couple of hours as I believe that the Nets have to call in a trade at that point, either with the original transaction or an altered transaction including the Raptors.
