Yep, he may onto something

I did some calculations. His hypothesis seems reasonable.

Need some more data, though.

Everybody was excited about AD's return and the chances of the Lakers in a wide open West, considering the recent victories.

All of a sudden, terrible loss to end a 10-lose-streak by a direct competitor for the play ins, the team that will benefit for ther pick. Plus the Kyrie debacle.

I think LeBron is frustrated as **** right now, as they are on the brink of faillure for the season. He's probably about to punt the season if Lakers don't move lol.

So it just got really anti-climatic. I don't know. And there's a good chance they'l lose both games.

It's crazy what one game could do to how this countdown is ending. They win last game and they're in the play-in, looking great. Record coming near, could end up with another win+the record and in good shape. Bleh, could have just finished off last game, but the late game idiotics continue

At home vs the Thunder or Bucks. Pretty cool it’s a home game

Hopefully he waits until Thursday night to break it so I can be watching.

Incredible achievement and he deserves his curtain call certainly, but I’m kinda ready to get it out of the way tbh. It’s been dominating the talk of basketball this season, especially lately, when there’s a lot of other great storylines taking place. Hope he gets it tonight so he can have his moment, ESPN, social media, and the award shows can obsess over it for a couple days, and then we can get back to the season/upcoming All-Star Break.

This is more of a celebration of the game with a new milestone, something that will never happen for decades, if ever. It's unlike someone tries to score 82 on you.

OKC or Bucks are not going to gift the Lakers a W to sweeten it up for sure, but I don't think they will have a strong urge to full court double Lebron just so he does not score 36.

Looks like Batman but I disagree with everyone. Okc is cool and up & coming but they play giannis and the bucks next game on tnt which is also Kareems former team that he won a title with and it's the trade deadline. It might be even better then but maybe he rather do so tonight so that the trade deadline wouldn't overshadow his achievement

It’d have more sentimental value if he broke the record against Kareem’s former team, but I have a feeling he will do it in the third quarter tonight. Can’t wait to witness greatness. I remember a book from my childhood where they listed major records, and Kareem had 7k points over the second place Chamberlain (MJ wasn’t even a 6 time champ when the book was published.) I thought that record was never going to be broken. Truly incredible and I used to be a LeBron hater until I started understanding basketball more deeply. Can’t wait for the record breaking basket

LeBron was seen practicing his hook shot quite a bit before the game. Much more than usual certainly. Wouldn’t be surprised if his corny ass tries to break Kareem’s record on a hook shot

Wait. I just realized that we aren't getting Kevin Harlan for this game.. How the hell does TNT have LeBron breaking the scoring record and they have their B-Team covering it?

EDIT: Ugh and it is Lefkoe and the B-Team in the studio. I totally forgot today was Tuesday.

OKC scoring 160 points tonight would overshadow his achievement. And a loss to the bucks would make the play in picture look bleak which would also overshadow his achievement. And I'm no bron hater at all.
