Bingo. This is the kind of return I'd be looking for.

There doesn't seem to be that kind of prospect on the horizon at the moment but I would take a chance on Sharpe.

Siakam for Sharpe? Good god no, that would be a mistake and a terrible use of Siakam as a trade asset. It's very possible Sharpe becomes the next Gerald Green...

Hali was just so clearly destined to be a future top 20 player, I can't say the same for Sharpe at all. You can't in good conscious do Siakam for Sharpe lol.

I can't blame Masai at all but man I'm still gutted that we didn't make a play for Hali. It was so obvious that he was going to be an all nba caliber player in the near future.

Hopefully a prospect like that is available for trade but I doubt it.

Havent seen much of Cam Thomas but I've seen a lot of folks who go SS for a few games and are tunnel visioned chuckers who are seen as elite players. In this case, the media pushing the narrative that he's actually good so Raps are forced to trade for him lol does he pass and defend? I'm not falling for that sht and I'm glad Masai knows it so I'm gonna trust his judgment.

He's defintely a bucket but he strikes me as a guy who needs high usage to be effective.

Nets pay up Claxton but dont lose Dinwiddie/DFS and gain FVV, Boucher and Poeltl
Raps get their DPOY Claxton for FVV who is likely gone and Boucher. Joe Harris after expiring next season

Just an FYI, but Brooklyn can't trade their own 2023 pick, I think due to protections on picks they've traded to Houston.

If he can be a better defending CJ McCollum then I'd definitely be interested, he's an undersized SG so good off the bench and replacement for Trent or Fvv since both are essentially SGs.

Does Claxton only have 1 more year after this one? And then he's a Ufa? I see in the trade proposal that fred and Nic have 2 years left. I'm assuming Nic's is a team option. That's not that attractive if you have to worry about getting him to come back starting next year.

I like it for us and the Spurs. I think maybe Claxton is out reach though, I certainly wouldn't trade him for FVV.

Spurs take this and run with it. Half year rental of Poeltl netting close to two 1st value (23 1st and Cam Thomas). I'd love it if I was Spurs fan.

Feel like bad contract Joe Harris has to go to Spurs in this case, Curry to the Raptors

He's UFA after 23/24. Same as OG. So you'd get him for the rest of this lost season and one more season before having to pay up or risk losing him for nothing.

Fred can opt in and be UFA in 23/24, or opt out and be UFA at the end of this season.

imo there's nothing Brooklyn has to offer that the Raptors can ideally built with.

What will happen?
