Initial thoughts on KD for Bridges, Cam, Crowder, plus picks?

Due diligence or not, IF Russell is truly available and the suns are legitimately concerned over possible chemistry issues around the trade leak, then they should just bite the bullet and trade Paul and Crowder for the Russell package I've posted awhile ago. OR if they could trade for Russell while keeping Paul, then they should absolutely pursue that!

I would give a FRP with some protection for D'Lo

I think Crowder (or whatever from the Bucks),. Saric and Shamet
might even throw in a highly protected FRP
I doubt they move him though - they are top 10 in the West

So I wonder what they'd be getting back? Maybe Lowry and Robinson? IF they do this, They'd absolutely not have any cap space whatsoever to possibly sign Irving! So IF this premise would happen, then wouldn't Irving be more likely to resign with Dallas??

I hope the lakers do that deal - Lowry has been horrible

They should want Chris Paul more than Lowry

I think this is coming from the Heat more than Laker. Pincus working for Riles

IF Ishbia was willing to pay a high tax bill??? Then I'd totally be down for this right away! Even at the expense of picks possibly too? With the Pels and Grizz currently infatuated with Anunoby, Maybe we could sneak in and steal Grant out from under everybody!! And we'd be getting him for a test drive before having to make a decision on resigning him to the max he's seeking too! Worst case scenario, we trade for Grant and decide to resign him, And then maybe look to trade Ayton for a cheaper option? Maybe a Turner or Capela or even a Poetl?? But we'd have time to make some decisions while competing this season with Paul. :D

Listen to me, my boy JJ. We need more rebounds. Grayson Allen is not the answer.

:o That's alot of money, even for a decent rotation wing/forward like Williams!

if he gets $20mill a year, that makes Mikal even more untouchable going forward.

Again, The Celts have really coveted Biyombo for awhile now. Now seeing that Monty barely plays him anyways, also that he's a liability offensively, and in knowing that Biyombo has well outplayed his contract with us and very likely could get well beyond the minimum this summer or what we may want to pay, Would/should we entertain the idea of flipping him to Boston for Sam Hauser/Orlando 23' 2nd? who has posted elite net ratings, etc in his playing time? Or maybe even Grant Williams perhaps knowing they're more open to moving him? Then we could just look to trade Saric to Sacramento for Holmes to replace Biyombo?

This is why I hope CamJ will be included in the trade which is coming soon. He's not going to get 22-25 million and we need some value from him or we look stupid if he walk for free.

Since he’s not we have a bunch of scrubs that nobody wants. The only guys other teams want James doesn’t want to trade. And that’s only 4 guys. I wouldn’t want to trade them either.
Nobody is giving up anything good for a washed CP3 and an emotional and delusional Jae Crowder who hasn’t played in like 10 months and expiring.
This is a great example on how to mismanage your assets.
Jones is gonna have to give up draft capital with light protections to improve this roster.
Otherwise this is the team.

If he was we wouldn't need to be making trades since we would aeady have guys like Holmes, Haliburton, and Bane on the team...

That too. But to get another superstar we could’ve used those guys or even guys signed through free agency. Instead we have a bunch of g league guys that we can’t move.

I’d do Craig for Caruso and Shamet for a jar of peanut butter. Landale for a loaf of bread.

Saric - though he has been playing better
Craig - though he has played very well with Cam's absence
Shamet
Payne
Crowder
Okogie
Jock

All to me are open for business to make the math work for the right trade.
