No way we do that. I hope not.

What the **** is that trash?

This cannot be real. The Mavericks have nothing of value to trade.

JJ needs to steal someone from the Jazz since they are rebuilding.

Clarkson, Conley or Olynyk

holy crap did he actually say that? oh my god has literally no one watched our past two seasons? we got whacked last year and are down one player (crowder) and CP3 is older and Ayton has regressed mentally (his focus that is).

i guess it's better for him to sound positive, but still. yikes.

The Mavs must be trying to cause disarray within our locker room. First, leak the CP3 thing for Kyrie. Now, trolling that Suns would trade DA for THJ and Wood.

Seriously though if that happens, I will only be a fan until Booker and Bridges leave the Suns.

But I believe in this owner I think. :D

He’s speaking from a position of power not desperation. It’s a smart public statement 48 hrs before the deadline.

Um... he's already being political IMO. He can't very well say... "Yeah, I wanna make some trades, other teams hit me up." Because that opens up the possibility of getting raked in a trade. He said the smart thing.

Here is his interview with Duane Rankin - a couple things
1) Crowder is gone as he says they are going to trade a player not playing for one that is playing

2) i truly hope he is sincere about the profit and putting the right product. Hopefully he has a vision (hell call DAvidIVPointplay for his spreadsheet) for the next three to five years and the cost to win in the NBA. I hope he takes after Joe Lacob

I agree, his statements mean nothing. Seriously, what else do you expect him to say? "Oh well did you guys see game 7 last year? And now we're down Crowder, ya we need to make changes" I don't think some of you understand leverage. Your stance as a GM or any part of ownership in an organization should always be looking to make your team better but you should never be desperate. Negotiating 101.

You all know I'm not a big fan of D.A and I wouldn't do that deal.

I think I would really make a push for OG. You can't have enough two way wing players in this league. If Durant becomes available in the offseason, he's another chip we could use to trade for Durant if we wanted to. Screw the picks.
