I think that every team in the east is praying that the Magic do not make the playoffs.
The Magic length will be an issue for every team and if they are shooting even decently, will be extremely difficult to beat.
lol
you are fooling yourself if you think
current Magic roster poses any serious treat to top tear teams that hold top of East by simply overrating some regular season wins that mean way more to you and Magic than they mean to better teams ( i assume you are refering to Celtics wins).
There are multiple instances of teams who got dominated by worst teams in regular season, just to stomp them in playoffs when it mattered.
2017 Jazz smashed Warriors in regular season (4-0) and got swept by Warriors in playoffs.
Heat-Bulls and Rose's MVP season - identical scenario.
OKC dominated Portland in 2018-19, than Blazers beat them 4-1 in playoffs.
Warriors are excellent example of how little regular season wins mean in playoffs. They had epic 1-7 record vs Dallas & Nuggets last year. They beat them both in playoffs with identical 4-1 result.
Magic should aim for playin to give young players goal to chase and play as many competitive games as it's possible. But it's bit foolish to expect playin, playoffs and it's simply delusional to expect ANYTHING in playoffs if they get there. Probably oneway a**whoop. Current roster , as it stands right now, has no half court sets, no half court defense, no half court offense to play serious basketball against some top tear teams.
