We are not getting KD in the off-season, why would Brooklyn help out a division rival? If we stand pat, our draft pick will become less valuable with the easy schedule and we might be in the Play-In which is the worst case scenario.

They traded Harden to the Sixers lol divisions in the NBA don't matter a whole lot besides if KD is gone they're not competing anyways so who cares?

I dont think Pascal or OG are gone by the deadline and they very well could be on the team next season.

But I have a hard time believing we are keeping Fred just to hope KD asks for a trade and we somehow pull off a deal for him.

I admit maybe I'm misinterpreting it but you wouldn't think the Raps would allow things to reach a point where WOJ is talking about a deal around a particular player publicly. That to me is a LOUD thing to do and it's not at all like Woj to gamble his creditibility for anything unfounded.

It's hard to think that it would sit well with Fred come negotiation time that both: we let the details of his contract extension that he turned down leak and now Woj making it public record that he's available. It's one thing when Jake Fisher says it, it's whole other thing entirely when Woj does. I just refuse to let myself get too excited about it lol but there does seem to be some smoke....hopefully no mirrors lol
