wouldn't bother me if we got good return

Remember my 1st question in this thread:

I wonder if we're getting this DA now because he wants to stay or go?

Still applies....and I'm not sure what the answer is....

Who knows. The guy is an enigma. He has it in him to be really good every night but this DA only shows up once every 5 games or so.

I'm neutral as to whether he's on this team or not after the trade deadline. My only ask is if he's getting traded that we're getting fair value

Well, it helps if the Suns feature him like they've been doing the past week or 2. They've been trying to increase his trade value in my opinion...only question is if Ayton is also dunking and being more active in order to increase the chances of another team making that call to JJ.

Kinda think its both tbh.

I'm glad so many of you bring it every night and are always engaged in complaining.

Sloppy ass win, which was expected with DBook's rust and the starters finally playing a game together, and a dialed in Jacque's Vaughn team.

Win goes to Ayton, who will continue to do this and win us games despite the lesser talent we could trade him for being broadcast here every game thread

If that's the case then I lean more towards trading him. If he has always had that in him and he could switch it on when he wants.....he'd be an all-NBA player, he'd have gotten the max from us and he'd be on the untouchables list right now.

Attaboy DA
Had to be his dunkiest game

Ayton just can't carry a team surrounded by scrubs, but put actual NBA players around him and he absolutely dominates. We are not a rebuilding team, we are a team contending for a championship, Ayton is EXACTLY what we need right now.

Only player who I think could have improved our team and was available was Kyrie, but he isn't available anymore. If the Suns really could have acquired Kyrie for 3 picks plus CP3, that is something they should have maybe looked more into. Otherwise, the team is solid as is constructed, just need a more capable PG that isn't injury prone to get the Suns back to a championship level.

Also, Cam Thomas putting up Wilt numbers?!?!?!

I don't think this string of strong games is due to Ayton trade rumors, remember he had a string of poor games earlier in the season playing through an injury then got player of the week & subsequently went down with an injury & started playing poorly again.

I think he just takes awhile to get his rhythm back and he seems to be on a roll now, while his offense is fantastic right now I still see some poor rotations from time to time so hopefully he can improve on switches because sometimes he makes such bad reads like that one play where he allowed Cam Thomas an open layup on a switch.

Leave it to the Suns to nearly fall apart within the last two minutes when they should have put the game out of reach.

I will take the win

Team will be different for Sacramento and Dallas next week. Granted if Crowder and Shamet are traded - won’t be any different

What is Ayton doing ? Doesn't he know he's the tank commander ? Maybe get him back to 10 shots a game again.

Moronty and Booker almost lost us this game. Moronty took our best player in this game out again when 50s left. Maybe next time Booker out. Ayton made both FTs when things really matters and Booker missed both of his.

We should trade Booker
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

If Durant available, then yes. Sometimes i put him in the same category with JC and Zach. A helluva scorer but end games maybe not his best strength. The biggest dilemma is still that Torey Craig end games. Hope some upgrade coming this two days.

Have seen now great shooters miss both FTs at end of game a few times since Ayton missed that one vs Blazers. The haters didn't miss the opportunity to call him a mental midget on that one, that's for sure.
