Kyrie just deleted his apology video from his instagram. I think we all know Kyrie never meant to apologize to the Jewish community and still believes in harmful ideology against the Jewish.

Kyrie's remarks on Jewish people and the documentaries he supported were awful. We also know some low-level stuff from Bullock too. How troubled are you all with this? Do you expect any more comments and NBA suspensions?

For me, I'd rather just stick to basketball and Mavs discussion here. I don't like some of the things he has said/done but right now I'm on the mindset of cheering for the guy to succeed. His success is the Mavs success.

I just find it crazy people are so invested in these players personals lives. I watch basketball to be entertained and get pissed when Luka doesn’t get back on D cause of his complaining. I don’t care what they do off court and I just don’t want them to do anything off court that’s gonna suspend them

I’m not going to make excuses for his comments. He tweeted out what he tweeted out and he said what he said and it is wrong.

To be frank, he is so talented many teams would let it slide. It’s like Jordan’s sociopathic behavior with the Bulls, the circus that was Dennis Rodman, the Gilbert Arenas issues, and the recent Ja Morant issues. That’s just the world we live in. That one white player has pretty much been exiled from the league because he dropped the n bomb while playing a video game. He apologized and it didn’t matter because he wasn’t talented enough to be forgiven.

I don't care about his personal life and decisions.

Free speech exists in this country for a reason and we fought a war and lost a lot of heroes defending that right so he can say whatever the **** he wants.

We got a saying here in America. I may not agree with what you have to say but I will fight to the death for you to have the right to say it.

It is not against the law to spew a stupid opinion. If you disagree then you debate people to prove them wrong or maybe you discover they are right and if they win you learn something and if you win then he learns something.

That is how we do things in America we debate and settle our differences in a civilized manner.

Anyone instigating a mob to attack a Dallas Maverick is an immoral evil bastard as far as I am concerned.

Kyrie is a Maverick now and so I would advise you not to spread hate like this because your going to catch hell over it. Every issue has 2 sides and the issue is being brought up by you here and nobody else. So quit being a hypocrite.

You know that nothing good can come from it or else you are being a self serving hypocrite just to spread hate which is it?

On top of that you are a pussy to instigate a **** post like this.

If you had any balls you would confront Kyrie yourself instead of trying to raise an evil mob to attack him for you.

Come on man go to the game and see if you can get him to debate you LOL I want to see that on youtube or the news when they show us what kind of moron you are.

I mean this with all due respect but since you clearly just **** posted on our newest Maverick that we are all wanting to kick ass and help us win a Championship I would say you have truly just exposed yourself as the ultimate moron in this forum.

It is best to let sleeping dogs lie.

I think he was pretty clear in his press conference today. Looks like a witch hunt to me. So no, not concerned.

Stupid **** stirring thread btw - he clearly said in the presser yday "I stand by my apology and by my people". Yet you have an option to vote for "he will apologise" but none for "he's already apologised and I'm not concerned".

Its because ozwizard is the either the biggest troll on the mavs boards, or the stupidest poster. But he are allowed to be that, thats part of freedom to speech. Which he seems to be against by starting the thread, but that just takes me back to the first line in this post.

I really don't care what he did in Brooklyn. He's here now and we can just hope that this works.

Mark Cuban has included free therapy sessions in his facilities. I don't give an F what Kyrie thinks about the jews or gypsies or whatever. As long he shows up to work. That's the main issue on him anyway. It's him showing up to work, not what he thinks. That's overblown.

As long as that Kyrie dude helps get another championship to Dallas, I'm willing to burn a truckload of sage with him and talk about this new age religion that he's into or something LOL

The thing with Kyrie is he was viewed as a circus freak by the New York media. So they kept poking the bear in the cage trying to get him to growl for headlines. That wont sit well with a guy with anxiety issues.

Cuban will hire a team of guys with AR-15s and pickup trucks in Dallas to protect his $200M investment LMAO

You really have zero clue about what went on with Kyrie up here, and your comments are indicative of it. He was an absolute disaster during his four years here in Brooklyn. Every season there was drama that was of his own creation. Randomly going AWOL at the start of the season, skipping games to attend parties, the whole vaccine fiasco which led to James Harden wanting to get the hell away from him, and the antisemitism stuff. All of that was him.

I guess it's regional cultural thing, but his antisemitism isn't tolerated in NY because we have a large Jewish population. I guess in your area, his hateful views aren't much to raise an eyebrow at. He felt comfortable to erase his apology and stemming from the comments in this thread, i can see why.

Either way, you guys sound a lot like we (Nets) fans did when we first got Kyrie and Cavs and Celtics fans were warning us about how toxic he is. You'll learn the hard way, just like we did.

Good luck. You'll need it.

I agree. Like I said, the main gripe with him is him showing up to work. For other people, his extra stuff off the court doesn't bother us much. One person saying he hates a whole country/group/community doesnt bother me much even if I was a Jew. That's one person's opinion. You got a whole country like Lebanon hating jews everyday and life still goes on in Tel Aviv. You got majority of the world hating on China because of covid. You got half of americans hating each other because you're blue or red. Same thing. Why let one person's views stir something up? I never got the idea behind that on a personal level. But like I said, he has to show up to work. What he says outside of the "office" doesn't bother me much. It's the same as white people hating black people and black people hating back. They just dont say it out loud, but its the same pie. Doesnt bother me if they do.

I saw NY councilman asking Christian group operating a charity field hopital to leave after the pandemic subsided, please don't preach to us about inclusion and tolerance, you are not as ethical or moral as you think you are.
Your team was owned by Russian Oligarch, with blood money and a list of scandals that fill pages, that didn't bother your oh so moral community I guess.
