Denver (38-17) defeats Minnesota tonight as Jokic has 20/12/16 in the contest. The Nuggets improve to 19-0 on the year when Jokic has a triple double in a game.

Jokic also leads the NBA in total assists after tonight's games. Jokic has 481 assists on the year, followed closely by Trae Young with 479 assists.

The last (and only, I think) time a center led the league in total assists was the 1967-68 season, when Wilt tallied 702 dimes to lead the association.

Wilt won his 4th and final regular season MVP that year.

A year away my ass. They've gotten SO much better SO fast over the regular season that it's incredible to see. 22-4 the last 26 games with Jokic in the lineup. And you'd be hard-pressed to find any duo in the entire league that consistently ups their game in the playoffs the way that Murray and Jokic do. I think they're the clear favorites in the West at this point and are just about neck and neck with Boston. I don't even think there's a team in the West I'd give a 1 in 3 chance of beating them right now. The window's now. It's time to strike.

Maybe one small deal at the deadline and one guy in the buyout market. They could definitely use one more perimeter player and a backup big.

I would gauge the market for Andre Drummond with Chicago. Bones for Drummond would be a great get for both teams but more so Denver. If not someone like a defensive minded big like Dedmond off the buyout
