The bubble title gets more fraudulent every year. And the heatles run while still great still feels like a let down if you really think about it.

Jordan ran the 90's
Bird/Magic ran the 80's
Shaq and Timmy ran the 00's

BUT Bron living up to the hype and still being great at 38 is nuts and passing Kareem is a massive achievement longevity or not.

Yup and Steph ran the 2010s.

LeBron is the most talented specimen, but he's just an name in Steph's paragraph when people will discuss the true goats.

Yep. LeBron is only the GOAT bus rider. Or maybe behind Cupcake too lol.

A REAL GOAT is a bus driver, not a bus rider.

I took that ring away from him. While the Cavs are technically his drafted team, he re-joined them as a mercenary.

So LeBron has won zero rings as a franchise player by my super official record book that I keep in my head.

I'll give him one, when they beat an OKC team not ready for prime time. The Spurs gifted them one, David Silver gifted him another, and the bubble was a fraud.

I consider all the Heat rings to belong to Wade, because he's the franchise player at the time that recruited the mercenaries.

If you count the bubble tournament win as a championship (vast majority do not), then LeBron ties Shaq for mercenary rings. That's his lane, though. He can't touch the true greats like Jordan, Curry, Johnson, Bryant, and his buddy Wade.

Shaq got to the Finals with his Magic and then gave up on them.
LeBron got to the Finals with his Cavs and then gave up on them.
Durant got to the Finals with his Thunder and then gave up on them.

All hall of fame greats, but all disqualified for GOAT consideration for their inability to conquer adversity and climb their own hill.

So the Lakers just robbed Utah (and to a lesser extent Minnesota).

LAL gets Vanderbilt, Beasley, and DLo
MIN gets Conley, NAW, and two UTA 2nds
UTA gets Westbrook, 2027 LAL 1st top 4 protected, JTA, and Jones

Yeah I like the Jazz haul the worst out of that trade. Good trade for LA & the Wolves tho. Conley will be a much more coherent fit with Ant & Rudy.

What's the point for the Jazz? What a trash trade for Ainge to make. A draft pick in 4 years from the team that has carte blanche on every free agency?

He's gonna cut Westbrook, got rid of Conley's contract and a pick that is likely a lotto.

A win if you ask me.

Minnesota on the other hand? i just don't see why they did this trade

Best part that Laker 1st is protected so that if it does not convey, it immediately becomes a 2027 2nd instead. Ainge, who always wants to rip people off, getting ripped off... feels fishy to me. Unless he evaluates players with Morey's scale, then I totally get it.

LMAO, the T'Wolves trade DLO and Jaylen Nowell steps into the starting role... instantly drops 30pts. I think Min knew they have a better player sitting on the bench, but couldn't do it due to the optics of DLO not starting.

Minnesota needed a real PG in the worst way. Conley makes a hell of a lot more sense setting the table and running the court for Ant and KAT (and their big doofus C) than DLo ever did.

That Laker pick is too 4 protected and immediately becomes a 2nd if not conveyed. All the top end value is cut right off. Plus you never know how Laker lotto luck might go. Three straight years at #2 while owing a top 5 protected 1st.

True.

And wolves need a REAL PG, not a spot up shooter faking he’s a PG. You can’t play double big without a REAL PG.

I’d even add one more combo guard for the Wolves to pair with Conley if Im the Wolves. They probably should have also asked for Sexton or Clarkson.

Good job by Portland. That 1st is the Knicks own and is only lotto protected. The Knicks are almost certainly going to make the playoffs this year.

New York didn't want Reddish anyway. And they have a bunch of young guys and extra picks. Hart can be solid, and he's certainly an upgrade. Don't hate it for them either.

Lillard must be legitimately annoyed at this point. Josh Hart is highly respected and liked by his teammates and coaches. Reddish is the opposite.

Yea what is Portland doing? Asking for what feels like the 20th time in the last 3 years.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards

Great pivot by LA to shift from Kyrie to DLo and Vando.

Treading water and going for a pounce when opportunity strikes.

Trade all picks, Jerami Grant or Nurkic, Sharpe for KD?
