Worse? Are you kidding me? Russell shoots 45-46% and close to 40% from 3pt land. Beasley & Vanderbilt will add depth. Beasley was shooting 40% from deep earlier in the year and ya got to hope he’d get some great catch & shoot opportunities with LBJ passing the ball and AD getting the double down in the paint

As expected the fact it didn’t get announced shortly there after I had a feeling this would be the case and possibly fall apart. Curious if MIN would just deal directly with LAL for picks. We shall see what happens. KD gonna get dealt tomorrow for some outrageous amount. Boston or Phoenix who’s gonna win the sweepstakes? If Jaylen is offered BRK would be stupid to not pounce

Getting off Westbrook and acquiring Russell, Beasley and Vanderbilt for only 1 1st round pick would be wonderful.

If this doesn't come to fruition, I imagine it'll become a 2 team trade with Utah and Conley will come here. I'm down for that too.

LFG, I'm most excited for Vando. No more small ass Pat Bev guarding Ingram/Kawhi etc.

Will they squeeze out one more?

Kudos to rob for grabbing four solid players thus far with Rui and the new wolves.

I’m very happy Westbrook is off the team.

Does Rob now package Pat Bev, Lonnie and the 29 1st now?

This trade would be a great way of utilizing Russ’ expiring.

Been following dlo around from lakers to nets to warriors to timerwolves now back to lakers. hope L.A is his final and last stop lol. wonder he will go back to the way he was playing with the lakers before he got traded. just put more pressure on other teams defense but attacking early rather than waiting for a PnR..post up on smaller guards when he gets a chance. But he'll have some good PnR partners. Thomas Bryant, Rui, AD, maybe even Lebron. Don't know if LA will extend/resign him though? Hope Dlo continues to ball out though. His issue in Min was he was forced to feed towns and take a back seat to edwards. Give him the keys to the offense and he'll thrive. Need AD to stay healthy. I'd like Lakers to get a guy like Dillon Brooks to play nxt to Dlo<-if they're gonna keep him for good. Take dlo what he's good at, scoring and setting teammates up and running the offense. Let the role players take care of the defense. Not to say dlo should slack off on defense, just try his best. :D

Bye bye bye Russ! Finally that albatross of ball hog and awful shooter is gone. This will completely bring a new light for this roster

Defense?

It’s not going to come from D’Lo. Nothing lost, I guess.

Utah would buy him out.

So the Lakers can sign him again!

This deal leaves the Lakers very guard heavy. I’d imagine either Pat Bev or Lonnie is going to get moved as well for a wing.

bye Russ! Even if I have not loved Dlo as a laker I'm just stoked to have him back vs Russ, but yah... we need a fast follow to exit guards for a D wing.
