I guess now maybe we can end up with fellow final 4 buddies after buyouts in Westbrook and Love.

Our championship window is open about 1 centimeter still. It closes tomorrow without a decent move.

Westbrook is no longer a rotation player and Love who tf knows what his injury is. I do like Love though if hes healthy.

This is wild man. A lightly protected 2027 pick and expiring salary filler. We have the requisite expiring salary filler don't we? Granted I wouldn't want to give up an unprotected pick for those dudes but come on Jones. We couldn't beat that in some way?

That might be one of the more lopsided deals ever. The Lakers did very well there. I’m not judging James Jones until tomorrow 3PM ET.

Do you think it's changed based on today (compared to yesterday...not the fact we haven't done anything)? Like the Wolves and Lakers suddenly became bigger contenders?

I think it shows that Danny Ainge believes the Lakers will suck in '27 lol

I guess I understand that. If we were willing to deal a first for Vandy and Beasley but couldn't match salaries without adding Saric and/or Shamet and Jones/Monty balked at that I would not be very happy. Utah is getting massive cap relief so Saric would have had to go out along with Crowder and maybe more...possibly Craig. Shamet has another year so they may not have wanted that.

But to get those two guys AND DLo for only one pick doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

The Lakers will be pretty good now. The west battle will be tough.

This looks really really horrible. Shamet and Saric are not NBA players. Craig is 12th man material. Crowder doesn't even play.

My brain is going to explode I should probably take 5 minutes.

Tank move by Ainge. Then cut Westbrick and lose last games left. Take Wemba.

Watch Jones turn around and either do nothing or trade 2 picks for Rozier. If he can't pull off a good deal for us, even a smaller scope deal, then I'm officially on the can his ass bandwagon. Hope I get to eat my words by the end of the day tomorrow but I doubt it

Getting awfully hard to defend Jones. How on earth did the Lakers pull that off? It just doesn’t make sense.

lol Minny took Conley ($14m guaranteed next season) and a pair of 2nds for DLo and we're out here talking about potential 1sts and expiring's.

And clippers will probably be getting Westbrook. The west continues to get better. Meanwhile… James Jones is going to crack and end up trading Bridges and Cam for KD.

Another year, another deadline where we are stuck with our **** in our hand watching other teams get better while we continue to hold onto assets and then trade them at their lowest possible value.
