The one saving grace this “core” has is that I legitimately believe Jimmy and Bam can be your two best players on a championship team, you just need the right supporting cast around them.
Lowry and the undrafted guys definitely aren’t that.
This. It’s why I get annoyed when I see people say Jimmy can’t be the best player on a championship team. What do you mean he can’t, dude played LeBron fuxkin James to a standstill in the NBA finals and we just witnessed a playoffs last season where he was arguably the best player in the world.
