I support this ending. I know it got a lot of heat but I think it made sense to have him and his family one last time and leave it lopwn for interpretation on what happened.

However what a long and tedious bore to get here. None of these seasons had any real narrative.

Their picks were top 10 six straight seasons just a few years ago, with four of those in the top 4. That is a pretty solid team to best against. While a FA draw, LeBron is 38yo, AD is brittle, and they don't own their picks the next couple of years.

There is no way that giving up a top 7-8 pick should be on the table for what the Lakers got today.
