I have some inside sauces and the pick is going to be offered in a package for OG along with Sharpe and 2 other picks.

Sent from my iPhone using RealGM Forums
It can’t be finalized on its own with 3 guys coming in unless we move on from someone already on the roster.. if we waived an existing player I’m guessing it would be Greg Brown. Otherwise someone else is getting moved
In season the league doesn’t allow you to waive players coming in the trade in order to make the trade legal

Sharpe and 3 FRP for OG would be a Gobert level bad trade.

Sharpe and three 1st's doesnt come close to working so who else is going with Sharpe? Maybe they loop the Knicks trade into it, but it still blows!! Keep Sharpe!

Re: Woj: Hart to Knicks
Hi, Knicks fan here.
Reddish is talented and he's had moments. There was one game thread where knick fans were cheering for him and excited to have him. This one:
https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/202211130NYK.html
But a few games latter, Reddish gave no effort on defense and Thibs got fed up and he's been DNPd since early December. It seems like the coach was done with him. I've never seen any specifics on exactly what happened, but that was 33 DNPs. That's a lot.
Reddish was unhappy in Atlanta in a crowded SF rotation and unhappy here under Thibs. The offensive talent is there. The defense . . . not so much.
Arcidiacono and Mykhailiuk have both been in the league a few years before coming to NY and both barely played this year. Easy to root for end of the bench types with too many letters in their names.
The pick is apparently protected if the Knicks lose Play to Play and it gets ping pong balls. That could happen. Play to Play is just a couple games and could backfire if the Knicks don't climb out of 7th place, but the probability is that the Knicks have a shot at the 6th seed in the East, maybe 5th since the Nets will probably slip, so around #20-#22 for the pick is about where I'd bet but if the Knicks lose a few but win play to play, could be in the 17-18 range. Not a huge difference.
Good luck maybe making the lottery and rebuilding next year.

I presume Blazers' FO wasn't sold on the possibility of resigning Hart this summer which makes me tolerate this trade. The return obviously isn't great.. but here we go.

Re: Woj: Hart to Knicks
If you compare Bridges + Johnson + Four 1st the Blazers could have made a similar valued offer in the offseason using Simons, Sharpe, and our 1st once we satisfied the Chicago obligation.
how do we have a pathway of beating three of these teams during Lillard’s Prime just to get to a finals?
Jokic/Murray/Porter
Durant/Booker/Paul/Ayton
Doncic/Irving
Kawhi/George
Lebron/Davis
Ja/Bane/Jackson + can improve
Zion/Ingram/McCollum + can improve
Curry/Thompson/Green
That doesn’t even count fighting to make the playoffs against an improved Kings and OKC roster. Our only hope would be a massive amount of injuries to star players, combined with them eliminating each other, and a lot of luck.
We’re practically drawing dead at this point with a slim chance of making the playoffs in the next three years. Lillard has to know this.
If Lillard is cool being here for a total rebuild I wouldn’t trade him against his will, but if he’s open to moving on I’d look at trading him to the Knicks, Nets, Pels, etc

I would assume that A) The CHI pick obligation screwed everything up re a KD trade 2) BRK values Mikal far higher than Simons or Sharpe, with good reason.
I would immediately offer Nas, Keon and Winslow for Royce.
G - Damian Lillard / Gary Payton II
G - Anfernee Simons / Shadeon Sharpe
F - Royce O'Neil / Cam Reddish
F - Jerami Grant / Jabari Walker JR
C - Jusuf Nurkic / Drew Eubanks
Meh, still not too great.

Re: Woj: Hart to Knicks
I assumed that Cronin had planned to flip the ny pick for our pick back to make a splashy trade, because that's obviously what you should do if you actually care about competing... but as along as Jody and the Vulcan's are involved we're screwed. I've never heard of an organization striving for mediocrity, but here we are. Up until now I've been firmly for keeping Dame but I don't know anymore, he deserves better.
Still a few hours left but I won't hold my breath.

Somewhat lost in this is the fact that there is a high chance Shadeon Sharpe is now the starting SF. We all wanted him to get more burn, I think its about to happen. Really cant see Cam coming out of nowhere and taking the SF spot and Nas is just not good enough. Really hope SS gets the spot, even if it isnt his true position.

Re: Woj: Hart to Knicks
I get it. Blazers weren't going to be able to afford both Hart and Grant this off-season, so better to get something for one of them than nothing come free agency. And given the roster construction, the Blazers have way too many guards and not enough bigs. But Hart is awesome. Was my third favorite Blazer behind Dame and Sharpe.
Because love can burn like a cigarette.

Re: Woj: Hart to Knicks
So we’ve traded for Reddish & Thybull, two players on expiring rookie deals who haven’t cracked rotations on their own teams, when we’re worried about the Lux tax and resigning Grant?
