Who is out there that you would like Masai to trade for?

You want to trade Fred for a 1st rounder top 4 protected that will most likely convey into a second rounder cause you know Lakers always get players in free agency and wont be terrible in 2027. I am sure Masai could get something of value in a sign and trade for Fred in the summer, at least a second rounder.

No one is giving up a first for Trent.

Or maybe you love to get those 3 juicy Knicks picks which would be protected heavily for OG?

Or maybe you would like Masai to just watch Boston get Jakob and watch while Boston, Nets and Bucks fight it out for the next 3 years while we develop Barnes with no center and Malachi running the point.

Would you guys do OG/Boucher/GTJ for Maxey/Thybulle/Harris? Leaves you with:

Maxey/Flynn
Thybulle/FVV(likely traded?)
Barnes/Thad
Harris/Achiuwa
Siakam/Koloko

If Fred and other contract stuff turn into this and a pick (us in the positive), I think I can cope with that.

Really ramping my expectations down and just hoping to avoid an all out catastrophe.

Crazy posters are complaining about how we should have done the Lakers deal. They want to take on Russell for a heavily protected 1st that conveys into 2nd round pick.

What salary are you sending out to match Russell??

Just insane some posters who just want to cry about anything Masai doesn’t do.

Absolutely not. Maxey’s been demoted to the bench because he can’t play on one end of the floor and Harris has a horrible contract. I like Maxey for what he brings but giving up OG is too rich of a price.

One of Fred or Gary has to go if we are trading Thad for Poeltl. Can't resign them all even if we somehow wanted to. Phoenix makes sense. Fred for Crowder, saric, '23 1st. Thad, Banton for Poeltl and Phoenix 1st.

So if Poetel is the Center Masai wants for the future and he doesnt think Trent will re-sign with us, then that is his only option.
