Memphis is praying that the nets are ready to flip Bridges immediately. Brooks/Green and 3 1sts are on the table.
DFS is a likely target too for us.

I think the Dallas pick is more valuable than either LAL pick, and they can probably flip DFS for a first, and Dinwiddie for two seconds at worst. I think that deal allowed them the flexibility to keep Durant barring this kind of offer, now they have the offer, and they can look to move some of the veterans in the offseason for other assets.
Crazy idea. Dallas goes and gets DFS back.
In the offseason, I'd kind of love that. Obviously now they can't b/c of trade rules.

Will he ever be the number one on a championship team? No, but he's without a doubt a guy who will help a team win a championship or push them over the edge. If Brooklyn decides not to keep him for a rebuild, they can turn around and trade him for additional multiple first rounders and/or young prospects as well. There'll be no shortage of contenders wanting to spend for Bridges.
I would really like Philadelphia to jump in here, piggyback as a 3rd team, and figure out a way to get Mikal.

Simmons Mikal Cam Crowder Claxton, with Dinwiddie off the bench.
That's a nasty defense and unstoppable offense.
Huh, listen Cam has had a great 5 game stretch but cant defend a chair. That is a meh offense and a decent defense.

I was kidding of course. But forgot about DFS

Suddenly the West feels like the West again.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

So... No way the nets pay $35.5M in luxury tax on this team though, right?

Dinwiddie and two Suns 1sts for Gordon and two Nets 1sts?

Re: [Woj]: Durant to Suns
This is clearly a huge swing by the new owner, but it makes alot of sense. Durant is the perfect 4 next to Ayton. They have a big problem with wing depth defensively now but they have a real shot to win the title if they can follow that up, if this doesnt work out though...ouch thats alot of capitol, I think I like it. Swapping TJ Warren for Crowder who was not playing might end up being a big deal if he gets closer to his old self by playoff time.

Ain’t that the truth. I feel like we are about to see some crazy shifts in the standings in the coming months. 1-10 will be amazing.

Zero chance, those Nets 1sts are looking alot like the Nets to Celtics 1st again.

DFS is a likely target too for us.
You think Memphis has to do something to keep up or they're going to be patient?

Being a Minnesota fan sucks right now. Towns is still out for a while and the Lakers, Mavericks, and Suns all massively improved.

Only thing here is that Bridges would have to be traded by himself according to the rules.

I mean Bane, Bridges and JJJ would be an insane 2-4 or 3-5 smallball playoff lineup. I think if they can pull off getting Bridges without trading Bane or JJJ they should go for it.
I'd love to see Portland try to get Bridges for players + picks but I don't think we'll be able to convince Brooklyn.
This is imo a great trade for both teams.

The Suns are all in. That starting lineup looks absolutely killer.
Paul-Booker-Durant-Saric(?)-Ayton
That bench is looking bad bad bad though.
Nets have a few more pieces they could move for more assets.
Suns look lethal now but they have two old guys who get hurt a lot and just mortgaged their entire future for what? A two year run at best.

Personally, they need to make a move or to tighten up as the Western Conference is progressing in these trades right now. However, the move or two must be smart moves.

Pump the brakes. They look nothing like those firsts. This Nets team is young and deep, even if it lacks star power. After the Celtics trade, the Nets had Brook Lopez, a relatively new to the NBA Bojan and the corpse of Joe Johnson. I think as currently assembled, the Nets are a pay-in caliber team.
I also don't think they're done. I'm not sure if they still pursue Siakam who would be a nice fit, but they have a lot of depth to consolidate.
