Yeah, Clifford is real bad. 15-41 and still jamming in vets to squeeze out wins. Can you blame him though. Mitch is brain dead. Fired Borrego becuase he wouldn’t play the young guys as much, and then hired Clifford.

Clifford had his "top 4 in the East" core healthy for these four straight losses against Chicago, Detroit, Orlando, and Washington lol.

Borregos worst season here was the year where rookie Devonte Graham was literally his best player and he had a 35.4% win% that season. Clifford is currently at 26.8% this season.

They fired a decent coach who might have had potential because they didn't want to admit that they blew the 2021 draft and that picking up guys like Oubre/Harrell/IT killed their playoff chances last season, then they hired a significantly worse coach.

Dittos Braggins on everything you said. What a pathetic pick and a putrid result. Getting Clifford is like hiring a handyman to do work that requires a general contractor license. His ridiculous rotation rigidity, his delusional belief that this squad is top 4 in the east when healthy. THAT IS PATENTLY INSANE. Also, why is Thor getting minutes? I guess he’s the only option, but not sure I see much progress.

I’m starting to think everyone around MJ is in full “yes man” mode. Cliff is the cop standing in front of the massive fire, saying “move along, nothing to see here”…just to appease the equally delusional Jordan.

Recently it was revealed why Jordan won’t speak with Barkley. It’s because Barkley criticized Jordan as an owner. MJ went full potty mouth ballistic on Charles, and they haven’t spoken since.

So either Clifford is indeed a total moron, OR….he wants to project total positives, nose to the grindstone, don’t look up or say anything…in order to keep his job. Mitch I fear is now doing the same thing…probably scared to do any deal…so he does not much of nothing besides looking busy.
