Huh? 2023 is gonna likely be #28-30. 2025 KD will still be there as well so will be a late 1st. 2027 I believe is KD’s last year so let’s say they’re still a playoff team.

So really only 2029 has potential to be top 10 and that’s if D Book doesn’t re-sign with them

Chris Paul is small and old.

Gave you the and-1 even though I totally disagree.

Smart, Rob, Bridges are all defensive terrors.

It's the Jaylenstans who look a bit foolish after the haul KD just got.

FWIW, while this trade is nice for PHX, I'm happy that we did not go to that level for KD at this stage of his career. Jaylen only the beginning of what it would have cost us.

Agree.

It was just too much.

I mean that's just too much to give up for a 34-year old.

But hey, Suns are desperate.

Surprised he was not the matching salary. Thought the Suns killed them until I saw it was Bridges and Cam.

Paul only guaranteed $15m next year and nothing in 2024-25, fwiw.

Suns got better, still not enough to beat the Masked-JB-led Celtics.

Nets did it just to field a 3rd tier contender. The Suns are loaded right now.

I wanted KD here but not at that price. The Suns have just mortgaged their future.

As they should because their window is right now with CP aging and D Book in his prime.

Gave up 2 role players, returned a top 5 player in the league, and then somehow got TJ Warren back too who is a good role player.

Gave up a late 1st this year. Likely a late 1st in 2025. 2027 potential to be average but D Book still on the roster. And then 2029 only one where they’re projected to be bad but only if Book leaves

Phoenix flat out fleeced them. These 2023 and 2025 picks are gonna be end of first round and then 2029 is only one with potential to be top 10

You never know,

Who expected first overall and 3rd overall picks when we traded KG&PP

Depends on a couple of injuries. Durant is already 34, Booker is injury prone , Chris Paul soon to be 39.
They only have one or two shots at most. 2025 pick might be valuable aswell

It was him or Curry. Love this move for them, even though they will pay for it someday. You can't tell me PHX is the team you'd like to see come out of the West if we make the Finals.

KD to Suns is nothing because there's no stopping Jokic and the Nuggets, right?

I'd be good with prying Finney Smith away from Brooklyn now. He'd fit that big wing spot nicely.

Suns look good on paper…….

BUT……..

……..who’s getting to that rim on that team? It’s possible that they kill you with 3s and mid-range jumpers I guess……but if the shooting is off….well……Celtics in 6. They still don’t have anyone who can guard Tatum or Jaylen.

If we have to worry about the suns I guess that's a good thing because it will mean we are in the finals again. I will be rooting hard for them to lose tho. I don't want any of that smoke.

Would love Cam or Mikal… but super unlikely haha

Philly should go hard for Mikal to slow our wings down

Nets didn’t want CP3. If they did, then Kyrie would be a Sun too I imagine

Yup.

It’s really only us and the Bucks in the East… and our Fathers’ Orlando Magic, of course

What do you see us doing mate?

I would make the trade to get bridges, just said the salary thing, it also likely would be needed a third team.
