Damn man. I get it that it’s KD but he’s old and fragile.

We may win a title but it’s gonna feel “bought”.

Damn. I wish even more now that we could’ve pulled off 2 more wins in the finals in 2021…

Why would Toronto want Ayton when they just traded for Poetl though? :dontknow:

Goddamnit I just forgot about that

we're doomed. Its going to be 4 vs 9 every night and in the playoffs 3 vs 8 once Paul gets hurt.

Read on Twitter

Thybulle or Je' Sean Tate? But now more than ever, our 2nds are gonna have to be impact players with great value! Luckily for you guys, I already have the best scorers and best lockdown defenders scouted! When the time comes, I'll gladly share the info!

I literally clicked twitter when Woj’s tweet was at 4 seconds. As a lifelong desert kid this is nuts!!

We should offer Dario + Shamet + 2nds for Terry Rozier

If Ayton can keep up his play from the last two games, we'll be okay. It's funny how this still kind of all comes back to him being dominant on both ends (defense and rebounding).

We need wings and shooters badly. And no, Shamet is NOT NOT NOT going to cut it

I almost feel like it's a bad April Fool's joke.

Of course I know it's exciting too and what the majority of the fanbase wanted..anyone but Booker and as many picks as it takes...all summer.

Even this year it's scary with Booker's groin injury and KD's injury and the competitiveness of the west..and Victor. If we won the lottery and it's not protected?

I of course don't expect that but anything is possible.

And then how long is KD going to play? Until 2026 maybe?

We better be very good until 2029. I don't know how we add more pieces and what to do to replace CP3.

I’m sad. We going to regret trading Mikal

Sadly, we probably have to trade Ayton in offseason for a PG and Wing since no picks

Yeah I just told a buddy that. I would have preferred the organic growth route that we have been experiencing. Not a huge fan of this move, but the very least, we still have Booker and Ayton I suppose.

For the record, we have ZERO draft picks from JJ...
You're crush on Markannen is a little alarming. KD is like a top 15 player of all time.

He's also 35 and cost us Mikal and the future. The injury history on the Sun's right now is terrifying.

Luckily, GOK knows how we can add more pieces, As long as we due our due diligence on our 2nds??

Sounds like it was Ishbia. That's a hands on owner. Those picks unprotected, especially well into the future, scare me. and if Payne and Shamet and KD are out and we are bringing along Book slowly, who are we starting right now? CP3, TJ, Ayton, Craig...I guess. Hopefully Book is fully healthy the rest of the year.

Interesting we got TJ...he hasn't really put up much for #s.

Even though Brooklyn seems full of role players, their depth, shooting, defense, etc, is tough...if Cam Thomas is the real deal, with Bridges, Cam, Dinwiddie, DFS, O'Neale, they have SO many damn solid wings.

I didn’t necessarily want Kyrie cause he’s unpredictable but I would rather have traded the extra 2 first rd picks in addition to Crowder/CP3 m/1st rd to acquire him and kept Bridges/Cam than give all this up for KD.

Anyone else feel that way?

The trade I mentioned above was what was rumored for Kyrie and Woj/Shams reported Nets wanted 2 more first rd picks.

I will say this about KD though. This season... he is averaging 30 points a game, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 1.5 blocks. Even at 34 he is still a stud.

Return to Phoenix Suns
