This is the type of ballsy move that we have never done before.

I love it. Go all in while Book is in his prime, CP3 still can play; and Ayton is rejuvinated.
TJ can provide scoring punch off the bench.

I would also be looking at the buyout market, we suddenly have become a top destination for ring chasers.
Eric Gordon, Wall, even Westbrook???

Love it, lets roll!!!!

If only we could have kept Bridges, I would be jumping for so much joy.

i think the thought was we were supposed to trade Crowder for depth, and he went with the deal

Book and Ayton are the Phx Suns Now.

Everyone else is either a hired gun or along for the ride.

Mikal and Cam will be missed. Changes needed to be made but losing Mikal will take some time to get over.

More moves to come.

Please no Melo

Crowder ended up to be a no factor and a throw-in for salary.

If we can get Thybulle for a 2026 swap I'd call the full deal an A+

At the moment we have nobody to guard the opposition best player 4 series in a row and do ok at it.

TBH if I could at this point I'd split him into a serviceable center and 3&D wing if the value was equal.

I think we are keeping DA for sure now. CP3, DA pick and rolls, with Book or KD on the weakside corner.... nobody one stopping that. If DA gets his head right, he'll be unstoppable

You feel the opportunity was closing because of CP3 I take it? KD is better than the others combined obviously. And winning a championship, if we do, may be worth it.

If we don't though, and nothing is guaranteed, especially with the health and age of KD & CP3, and health of TJ and Book. Not sure how we add depth.

Oof, what a day. Happy to have Durant, but he was EXPENSIVE. I will thoroughly miss Cam and Mikal as will we all. They gave everything for PHX. A title will mean less without them on the team. That said KD is a big get.

I think the move might be to leverage Shamet, Dario, Payne, Biyombo into something.

Maybe include them and off-year pick swaps for Derozan, Dragic and Drummond. Sign Russ. Get an enormous tax bill-don't care.

Paul/ Russ/ Dragic
Booker/ Lee/Lee
DeRozan/ Okogie
Durant/ Warren/ Wainright
Ayton/ Drummond/ Londale

Just spit-balling but if we pulled that off, would that be the best offensive team in history? Mid-range, 3pt shooting. Good shooting big man and the Point God. Legit the team could have 5-6 HOF'ers on it. We probably don't have what we would need to pull it off...but interesting to think about.

Still some potential moves that can be made, but I’m guessing the buyout market is where we’ll see more action at this point.

I still want a better PG depth than Payne/Shamet but think we are stuck with that.

I have a feeling we were trying to send Ayton to Toronto for nets instead of Mikal.. and that’s why Toronto switched to Poetl once nets said no

I am trying to spin it positively in my mind. I guess the biggest thing I can think of is that if you really look at who's reliably healthy this season, we only lost Mikal.

The picks..I know I like picks more..so hopefully none are that high. But some are so damn far into the future. This year we have to be healthy enough to even get there.

We should look to have Durant and Paul be on the phone with Westbrick tonight as they both have connections with him to get him to come join us after being bought out! Then he can play at the small forward this season defensively?? Maybe Add Wall too from buyout? otherwise who knows??

I'd just rather have rebounding from a center and spacing from a wing at this point. KD and Booker are like the best offensive duo in the league now. Don't really care about Ayton's offense at this point- it's a luxury and his touches will be very limited now anyway.

We've to add another wing who can play D and also shoot. Thybulle and Tate are good defenders but can't shoot, so no different to Okogie really. Miami want Saric. Maybe we could Caleb Martin for Saric?
