KD, man an all time great and they have a real shot this season and next.

Warren coming back is super hilarious.

:D Let's win a championship for Cam and Mikal
They will both still get rings right? :D

I think this is Ishbia. I think he wanted it done SO badly, taking over today, to make a big splash, that we had no choice.

I bet if we wait until right up the deadline though we could have at least top 4 protected them each for a year though.

I can't find the quote, but I could have sworn Mat said yesterday to the fans "I know what you want, and I want it too."

A championship ? Fact.

If only we could have kept Bridges, I would be jumping for so much joy.

I get how that was not possible. But then at least keep CamJ, or do not add that many picks, or have a good and useful player coming back (Royce) instead of TJ (god bless his injured heart). No way a good nba gm makes this trade as it is.
I think Ishbia got trigger happy and will regret this in about 2 years. No picks, capped out, no way to add to the team, luxtax bill up in the sky for 3 plus years while not being a contender and no way out... he gonna sour on this nba experience real quick...
This is when an actual nba gm would have helped the process - but we only have a "gm".

Could a better GM have made a better deal than this? Probably but we’ll never know. This team might break every offensive metric of all time, and KD isn’t a slouch on defense either.

Even the 2025 pick is scary to me....That's when CP3 is done and KD will be 36? Like there's real questions as to what this team will look like then.

Considering both of those happened very quickly I can definitely see that. Probably Anunoby to Nets, Ayton to Raptors.
Sounds like Raptors will probably be dealing Anunoby to another Western Conference team though, if I had to guess, the Grizzlies.

I almost feel like it's a bad April Fool's joke.

Of course I know it's exciting too and what the majority of the fanbase wanted..anyone but Booker and as many picks as it takes...all summer.

Even this year it's scary with Booker's groin injury and KD's injury and the competitiveness of the west..and Victor. If we won the lottery and it's not protected?

I of course don't expect that but anything is possible.

And then how long is KD going to play? Until 2026 maybe?

We better be very good until 2029. I don't know how we add more pieces and what to do to replace CP3.

I’m sad. We going to regret trading Mikal

Yeah, he was one of my favorite players ever. Probably 2nd favorite. He'd probably first if I didn't watch KJ as a Sun in my early Suns fan years.

Damn.
Oh give it up man. Lord have mercy.

I will never let it go. Luka and Hali.

Me neither. It was a very obviously terrible decision then and it remains inexcusable. Jones threw a top 10 pick down the drain in a weird attempt to match up with the unraveling Lakers knowing he was already targetting another 7 footer in McGee as his primary FA. Haliburton was far and away the best prospect and most likely to contribute immediately. Vassell at least I would understand due to 2 way potential at a very premier position as a wing player. Jalen Smith, a backup C who might be able to play a bit of PF, made no sense.

And for anybody who thinks Jones would've picked Luka, I really question if you've watched Jones operate in the draft. He has never gone consensus. Luka and Ayton were the top guys.

Now I do feel better making a move like this with an owner who's willing to spend because they need to add even more this summer and the buy out market.

The buyout market is my big hope now. And at least we finally will get some espn coverage.

Love, Wall, whoever. I don't imagine Westbrook would want to reunite with KD but who knows..it would be kind of fun to see them win a championshp together...on the Suns.
Imagine going from watching Mikal every night to **** westbrick... Like. :falloff: :falloff: :falloff: :falloff: :falloff: :falloff:

He was evaluated I believe the 24th of January saying he would get reevaluated in two weeks. Two weeks was yesterday.

I would love to somehow get Anunoby, but I don't see Anunoby or Dort as being remotely available for what we have left. Thybule is on the outs and I think we should target him.

We need wings and shooters badly. And no, Shamet is NOT NOT NOT going to cut it

Sadly, we probably have to trade Ayton in offseason for a PG and Wing since no picks

Yeah, was thinking about that. This might make an Ayton trade even more likely. Get all those older win now pieces.

But we really need depth. Not many teams need a C though. San Antonio is one of the few.

Watch us trade Ayton for Rozier and Plumlee.
