That's a tough call. I just don't know if the Rockets would really do that though. Bridges would be a solid add for the Rockets but they are likely a few years away from competing unless they can sign another impact player or draft a star. Likely kind of a waste most of his cheap contract and he might not be happy to go back to a rebuilding team again.
I hear you, but imo until the Rockets land a starting PG that can run a real offense then they are likely still out of the play-ins next year. Plus working in yet another high usage rookie usually doesn't lend itself to a winning record. Bridges would for sure up they win total for the Rockets, but I am less optimistic about what the Nets are going to be putting on the court next year. Dinwiddie as your number one offensive option is a sure ticket to the lottery to me no matter how many 3nD guys you have around him, that pick could easily be top 4 next year unless Simmons reestablishes himself as an all nba player again.

Can’t believe the Nets are winning the poll so far. I like the haul and all… but this is Kevin Durant.

I have a strong feeling suns were trying to keep Mikal since summer, and today they were trying to send Ayton to Toronto for other assets to Bkn.. and that’s why we saw Toronto Poetl trade right before KD trade.. as they were told it’s going to be Mikal instead of Ayton

Best offers for Crowder and Curry whom I expect to both be gone?
Royce and Harris could also get moved, but Marks has always believed in having veteran culture guys mixed in with youth.
Other wings like Yuta and DFS could also be made available for the right deal.

Re: [Woj]: Durant to Suns
Fair enough on the upside of the nets picks. While he's not as good could also try to steal Cam Johnson, and if the nets matched they have like $60M tied up in Ben Simmons and Cam Johnson. I guess they should just wait and seepsman2 wrote:K_chile22 wrote:They want to be a play in team next year. I think they'll be looking for three way deals to get under the tax. I think Crowder and Curry gets them completely out. Team has been crazy expensive, not selling tickets, and will now not be very good. Doubt they spend $35+M in lux tax paymentsTheNetsFan wrote:Best offers for Crowder and Curry whom I expect to both be gone?

I bet masai was offering OG+ picks and thsts what prompted Mikals inclusion. Maybe/hopefully Pelicans and Memphis will pay more now to get someone to guard KD..?

Was “unashamed” autocorrected from “un-insane?”

Yes, but you know fickle fans! Soon it will be, “yeah, I know you brought in Hall of Famer Kevin Durant, but that was yesterday. Who do we get today?”

I know the Hawks have been hot on the trail for crowder for a minute now. Also been linked to liking Curry in a few trades. Wouldn't surprise me if we are a team going after either of them.

They are now older, more vulnerable to injuries, and have traded off their future. If anything goes wrong they will have little ability to pivot.
And things often go wrong when you have a PG CP3s age and a superstar with Durant's injury history.
This just has the feel of another of those New Owner moves where they reach for a title right away.
That is fair, they paid a really high price for an older player and will still be owing picks 5 years from now after he is gone, but this season is more wide open then most, they need to find a way to get another wing, but if they can I really think they are the best team in the wast now.

So which of the forwards is going out from Brooklyn?
I think Bridges, Johnson, O'Neale, Crowder and DFS is too much depth. Especially considering, that Ben could play there to while putting up 6/6/6

Marks has been a Collins fan since before he was drafted. Seems like that would be a contract dump for Atlanta. Crowder and Curry would work money-wise if it's an expansion of the PHX trade.

First step to the process is showing KPJ the door. That dingus as your PG ruins everything.
