I gotta say too, I love that we are keeping DA. He is going to feast with the amount of firepower around him. I mean... my expectation is the Suns are keeping DA.

I can actually more understand trading him for more depth now, but it would have to be a very good trade. Not like Rozier and Plumlee.

We'd have to get a solid guard, a solid C and a solid wing and I don't think we could get that much for him.

I really hope not. I could see that happening, however I am thinking James Jones might just get veteran minimum players to fill out the bench.

I've already scouted all the elite defenders in the 2nd round range, including some very comparable to Nikal Bridges and Herb Jones already. I've also already scouted the most potent scorer/shot creators and point of attack defenders in the 2nd round within our range. So IF it comes down to that critical necessity, I'll have info ready!

what's the rule with trading consecutive picks? Is it that you can't trade consecutive picks in the SAME deal, or just not at all?

Because if we legally can use '24 and '26, we unfortunately need to use them to upgrade depth for sure

From a pure basketball perspective, ignoring how likeable and cool Bridges and Cam are, you guys are crazy not to like this. It's one of the greatest players ever, and easily the best player to ever put on a Suns uniform. And he has only missed significant time in the playoffs once, in 2019.

All these guys you think suck, Ayton, the entire bench etc, will benefit greatly from playing off a guy like Durant. Booker will also benefit, and Paul will have no pressure to be a bulk scorer. As a whole our mental mindset can be reset as we have a guy who has won championships and torches every single defense he plays against.

All these sours takes haha. Please just be happy that we have added KD to Booker & Ayton. We just catapulted ourselves to championship favorites and some people are salty we can’t draft 4 more busts.

It's not Kevin Durant the on-court performance we're upset about.

It's Kevin Durant the insufferable aging twatbag who's the symbol and example of everything wrong with this league right now that's the problem.

If he was 25 Oklahoma City Kevin Durant hey **** yeah. But the league has done immeasurable corrupting of this guy.

Bad enough we have to root for Paul who's spent his career flopping like an inflatable car lot thing and bitching and moaning constantly. Bad enough we have to root for Ayton who is dramatic and a problem himself and will never ever reach the heights he could. Bad enough we have to root for the guy who's modeled his life after Kobe **** Bryant.

I wouldn't even get any real joy winning, tbh. For fans, you have to like what you're winning with because you're watching this team night in, night out as entertainment and as an extension of yourself. What do I care about winning with this snake at the helm?

This is not a very likable team. Coming from a franchise that was historically incredibly lovable, that sucks.

So if the Suns win their first championship ever with this team, you wont be celebrating?
Unfortunately, there are no prizes for being a "likeable" team.

I wouldn't be nearly as happy as I'd be otherwise. I'm already not that into it anymore because of **** like the league has become. If the team I root for becomes the same way with the same cast of characters too, yeah, I don't think I'd be too thrilled about it.

I don't live and die by the team and sport anymore. And it has nothing to do with anything involving me, really.

But yeah, if we win, cool I guess. Certainly won't feel like 1993 or 2005-2008, 2010, 2014, etc.

TBH if I could at this point I'd split him into a serviceable center and 3&D wing if the value was equal.

I think we are keeping DA for sure now. CP3, DA pick and rolls, with Book or KD on the weakside corner.... nobody one stopping that. If DA gets his head right, he'll be unstoppable

That would be a huge plus if Ayton really grows while playing in a stacked lineup like this with enormous threats. That over the next couple years he punishes...would be awesome for the future.
